Judy Ann Santos shrugs off rumors linking Ryan Agoncillo to other women

Judy Ann Santos returns to television as a first-time host for the new ABS-CBN reality competition Junior MasterChef: Pinoy Edition premiering this August 20. During the press conference for the show, Judy Ann said that she has the full support of her husband Ryan Agoncillo on her decision to make a showbiz comeback. Her family remains her top priority though, primarily her two young children Yohan and Lucho.

Judy Ann and Ryan are also working on the movie My House Husband which will be part of this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival. During the press conference, the actress was asked if she was aware of various reports spreading on Twitter which link her husband to other women. “Aware rin ako. Sa panahon ngayon, kahit hindi ka mahilig sa social networking dapat alam mo rin ‘yun para hindi na naman tatanga tanga,” she answered.

But she doesn’t want to dignify those malicious stories linking Ryan to his lady co-hosts on a noontime show. “Nakakatawa na lang isipin ‘yung mga sinasabi nila. Ang galing nilang magsulat ng kwento. Pwede silang maging writer ng teleserye. Nakakabilib kung paano nila i-push ‘yung mga pinaniniwalaan nila. Hinahayaan ko na lang ‘yung mga ganun. Kanya-kanya tayo ng opinyon.”

Judy Ann asked those behind these rumors to not put any malice on Ryan’s friendships with his female co-hosts. “Unfair din naman sa mga co-host ni Ryan. ‘Wag na lang natin lagyan ng malisya kasi pamilya sila dun. Masayang masaya sila. Saksi ako na barkada talaga ang turingan nila. ‘Wag na nating bigyan ng dahilan para magkailangan sila kasi hindi naman nila tayo inaano. Hayaan na natin sila.”

The actress said she doesn’t have a Twitter account, but she often browses the internet where she gets to read various stories involving her and Ryan. She knows that almost all of these are not true, that’s why she never felt the urge to confront her husband about it. “Hindi ko na siya tinatanong. Kampante ako sa asawa. Very honest na tao ‘yun. Kahit masaktan ka, sasabihin niya sa ‘yo lahat. Hindi ako nadadala sa mga ganyang chismis. Kung noon hindi, ano pa ngayon na sobrang relax ako sa buhay ko.”

Judy Ann further revealed that she is very much secure with her marriage to the TV host/actor. “Walang pagdududa o selos sa katawan ko kasi sobra sobra ‘yung ibinibigay na love, care, and support sa akin ng asawa ko. Walang dahilan para maniwala ako sa mga isyung ibinabato nila sa aming mag-asawa. Hayaan na lang natin sila.”

Like any other marriage, Judy Ann and Ryan’s relationship also experiences problems from time to time. In their case, they often have issues with time and with petty things. “May selosan pero hindi namin inaamin. Ha ha ha! Pampa cute lang namin. Hindi pa naman dumadating sa puntong gusto na namin maghiwalay. Sa amin ang selos nagsisimula sa kawalan ng oras. Pero sa mga kaibigan at katrabaho walang selosan.”
