At the press conference of her comeback show “Junior MasterChef” last week, Judy Ann dispelled rumors about the alleged closeness of Ryan to his “Eat Bulaga” co-host and Brazilian model Diana Menezes. Diana is the fiancé of director GB Sampedro.
The new host said that even though she doesn’t have a Twitter account, she is aware about these rumors, which are easily read on the Internet.
“Aware rin ako. Sa panahon ngayon, hindi ka man mahilig sa social networking dapat alam mo rin yun para hindi na naman tatanga-tanga pagdating ng panahon,” Judy Ann told the press.
When asked if she wants to make her own Twitter account so that she can also give light to false rumors, “Hindi ko kaya yung maya’t maya na nag-uupdate. Sa asawa ko lang ako ganon. Parang yung responsibilidad na yun, sa kanya ko lang ginagawa,” Judy Ann said.
As many things happen and various stories come out on Twitter, “It’s a social networking na teleserye pa sa akin,” Judy Ann quipped.
Judy Ann says she takes these rumors lightly.
“Nakakatawa na lang isipin kase ang galing nilang magsulat ng kwento. Pwede silang mag-apply na writer ng teleserye. In fairness sa mga taong ito. Nakakabilib kung paano nila i-push ang mga pinaniniwalaan nilang mga bagay. Ang galing ng imahinasyon. Hinahayaan ko na lang yung mga ganun. Kanya-kanya tayo ng opinion,” Judy Ann shared.
Judy Ann asked not to put any malice on Ryan’s closeness to Diana as they treat each other as family.
“Parang unfair din naman kase pamilya sila sa ‘Bulaga.’ Wag na lang natin lagyan ng malisya kasi masayang masaya sila bilang pamilya,” she said.
Judy Ann also added that she witnesses how they treat each other in ‘Eat Bulaga,’ so she doesn’t want these rumors to affect their working relationship and friendship.
“Saksi ako na ang turingan nila ay barkada talaga. Mahal nila ang isa’t isa. Wag na nating bigyan ng dahilan para magkailangan sila kasi hindi naman nila kayo inaano. Hayaan na natin sila,” Judy Ann told the press.
When asked if she also confronts Ryan with these rumors, “Hindi. Kampante ako sa asawa ko. Very honest na tao yun si Ryan. Masaktan ka man, sasabihin niya sa’yo lahat,” Judy Ann shared.
Judy Ann said she and Ryan are very open to each other. She also told that press that she never doubted her husband, and saw no reason to believe those rumors.
“Walang pagdududa o selos sa katawan ko kasi sobra yung ibinibigay na love, care, and support sa akin ni Ryan. Walang dahilan para maniwala ako sa mga isyung ibinabato nila sa aming mag-asawa,” Judy Ann said.
If ever Judy Ann gets jealous, it’s just more on the time that they want to have for each other, and not because of other people.
“Pampa cute lang namin. Hindi pa naman dumadating sa puntong gusto na namin maghiwalay. Pag kadalasan, oras ang pinagseseloan namin, yung panahon pero sa mga kaibigan, mga taong katrabaho, hindi,” Judy Ann quipped.
Aside from “Junior MasterChef” that Judy Ann is working on, she will also be doing a movie for a Metro Manila Film Festival entry with Ryan entitled, “My House Husband.”
