Aliw Awards Hall of Famer Ryan Agoncillo happily narrated details about his newborn son, Juan Luis, who was born last October 7. He revealed that Lucho (Juan Luis's nickname) weighed 6.9 pounds at birth and measured 52 centimeters.

The husband of Judy Ann Santos graced the 23rd Aliw Awards at the Manila Hotel Fiesta Pavilion last October 18. Ryan won the award for Best Emcee (Male) three times in a row—in 2007, 2008, and 2009—making him eligible to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

HOW LUCHO CAME INTO THIS WORLD. Ryan revealed that Juday (Judy Ann's nickname) initially wanted to go through childbirth without the use of medication. But eventually, she decided to use anaesthesia when the contractions became unbearable.

He recalled that fateful day when their son entered their lives.

Ryan commended the staff of the hospital where Juday gave birth. Pagkatapos ng isang ire, nagtsi-cheer sila at sinasabi, 'Good job, Mommy.'"

When asked if Lucho looked more like him or Juday, Ryan quipped, "Malas niya, parang ako nga yata!"

LUCHO'S BAPTISM. When members of the press asked Ryan to share photos of his son, the TV host-actor explained, "Sabi ni Juday kasi, hangga't hindi pa nabibinyagan, hindi pa puwede ipakita sa tao. Parang may kasabihan yun, di ba?"

Regarding the baptism of the newest member of their family, Ryan said that there are no definite plans yet.

As for the list of godparents, Ryan mentioned that Beth Tamayo will be a ninang while Ryan's brother will serve as a ninong.

Ryan admits that he has not yet tried changing Lucho's diapers since he is tasked to take care of Yohan, their eldest daughter.

Do they have plans to have another baby soon?

"Mamaya!" Ryan quipped.
