After successfully hosting the first season of Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition, Judy Ann Santos admitted she is excited about being part of the adult version of the successful cooking talent search, MasterChef. Juday also admitted she is also happy that the show will also have on board Junior MasterChef’s judges Fern Aracama, Rolando Laudico, and JP Anglo.
The 33-year-old actress said that since this is the adult version of the competitive cooking show, they will have stricter standards in terms of cooking. “Basically it would be the same set of hosts. Siyempre since we’ll be dealing with adults already, mas magiging prangka lang kami sa kanila. Mas matinding training ground ang mangyayari definitely,” she shared.
Juday promised that MasterChef will be just as entertaining as Junior MasterChef when it comes to the show format. The talented actress revealed she is already readying herself for the backlash that comes with being the one having to eliminate contestants every week. “Sa pagkakataong ito all the chef judges are now allowed to be more specific in their criticism.
Juday said doing Junior MasterChef definitely boosted her confidence when it comes to being in the kitchen. The doting wife and mother of two said she is very happy at the rate her personal and professional life is going right now. Both Juday and husband Ryan Agoncillo are known to be hands-on parents. Tapos let’s say nung Sunday nagtrabaho ako tapos si Ryan naiwan sa bahay, on Monday we’ll make it a point na mailabas yung mga bata kahit papano. Weekends hangga’t maaari we try to explain to the production people na okay lang ba kung weekends huwag tayo magtrabaho ng araw na yun kasi yun lang yung araw na walang pasok si Yohan eh. So we compromise.
After making a successful showbiz comeback with a slimmed-down figure and a lot of projects, Juday admitted there are no plans to have another baby yet. Tig-isa kami,” she said.
