Philippines - After opposing earlier plans to have his ward Judy Ann
Santos paired with Fil-Am actor Sam Milby in ABS-CBN’s newest soap
opera, Alfie Lorenzo finally gives a thumbs up to the pairing for a new
project.
“Nakiusap si Juday pati sina Deo (Endrinal), Rondel (Lindayag), etc., pinagbigyan ko na,” was Alfie’s text to a colleague who inquired from him if the TV project is pushing through.
In a tab column, Alfie was quoted, “Ayaw ko! Over my dead body!” when asked if it’s true that Judy Ann will be paired with Sam in a Kapamilya program.
Alfie, however, did not rattle off his reasons for opposing the suggestion.
Reacting on the matter, Sam, in an interview posted on PEP on June 1, wishes that the planned teleserye with Juday pushes through.
“I don’t want to comment on that, pero sana naman matuloy… sana matuloy ‘yung teleserye,” Sam was quoted.
“For me, napakasuwerte ko talaga na maka-pair si Juday, so sana tuloy talaga siya,” the Fil-Am actor added.
Although the project was met with opposition from Juday’s manager, Sam is still “hoping for the best.”
“Sa akin, after hearing that, I know that there are a lot of people either they don’t like you as a person or your manager. Lagi namang ganu’n. Ako, I hope for the best. You can let it affect you or not but for me, sana naman tuloy ‘yung teleserye.”
