Judy Ann’s role in ‘Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote, at Ako’ is that of a flirtatious fairy looking for a partner
“Ibang role yung binigay nila sa akin kasi sabi ko rin hindi ko po kayang maitawid yung ginagawa ni Miss Ai Ai kasi siya lang naman yung puwedeng gumawa nun,” she said in an interview aired on “TV Patrol” Oct 25.
If she were still part of the movie, Ai Ai would’ve played the role she had done in the hit movie series “Tanging Ina Mo” whereas Judy Ann’s role in “Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote, at Ako,” is that of a flirtatious fairy looking for a partner.
“Harot lang ng harot,” as Judy Ann puts it, laughing.
The cast and crew of “Si Agimat, Enteng Kabisote, at Ako” shot the final scenes of the film yesterday in Batlag Falls, Tanay, Rizal despite the heavy rains.
When “24 Oras” asked what’s it like being a fairy, Judy Ann, who came to the shoot already in costume, blurted, ““Enjoy! At least, di ba, minsan sa isang buhay ko ay naging diwata ako at naging part ako ng Enteng at Agimat. Kumbaga, para sa akin, napasama ako sa isang history ng parte ng pagiging isang artista.”
She isn’t worried that superstar Nora Aunor, whom many predict will give Judy Ann stiff competition for the MMFF Best Actress Award come December, has two entries in the MMFF. On the contrary, the younger actress is ecstatic that an artist of Nora’s caliber will lend the festival more prestige.
“Ang saya saya! Bongga, alam na natin kung sino ang hahakot ng award. Alam na natin ‘yan,” Judy Ann told “TV Patrol.”
