Direk Joey Reyes names his askal dogs Phil and James; reveals Ryan Agoncillo's transformation in My House Husband

MY HOUSE HUSBAND. Tinanong din ng PEP si Direk Joey tungkol sa kanyang 2011 Metro Manila Film Fest entry na My House Husband, na pinagbibidahan ng mag-asawang Judy Ann Santos at Ryan Agoncillo.

"A, it's pretty cool!" bulalas niya tungkol sa kanyang pelikula.

"May shooting kami, medyo lang nagkaroon ng aberya, because we have to pack up because of the storm.

"But otherwise, we are proceeding according to schedule."

Kumusta naman ang working experience niya with Juday and Ryan again?

"A, we have known each other for quite some time, hindi ba?

"Like in this movie that we're doing together, a... it's not really any problem.

"Plus the fact na from Kasal Kasali Kasalo, up to now that we're doing My House Husband, a lot of changes have taken place.

"I met them when they were still magnobyo-magnobya, now they're parents, okay...

"Now they're married and now they're my neighbors, so the relationship has transpired tremendously."

What's My House Husband about?

"My House Husband is about a man named Rod [Ryan] who is forced by circumstances to take care of his family and do the house chores.

"While his wife [Judy Ann] had to be the one to take on a job.

"So this is a phenomena na very current right now," saad ni Direk Joey.

RYAN 'S TRANSFORMATION. Naibahagi rin ni Direk Joey sa PEP kung gaano kalaki ang naging transformation ni Ryan dito sa pelikulang ito.

Dahil nga My House Husband ang title ng pelikula, nakasentro sa kanya ang istorya.

Sa una'y naging mahirap daw ito para kay Ryan, subalit ayon kay Direk Joey, marami naman daw natutunan ang actor-TV host.

"Well, unang-una, hindi siya... hindi siya marunong magluto.

"E, dito, OC [obsessive compulsive] siya sa cleanliness, natuto siyang...

"Madaling mag-utos, e, mahirap gumawa, di ba?

"Madaling sabihin na gusto mong malinis ang iyong bahay, mahirap maglinis ng bahay.

"In this case, natuto siya kung paano maglinis, natuto siya kung paano magluto, at na-realize niya na nakakapagod yung trabahong yun.

"At higit sa lahat, ni-learn niyang irespeto na hindi kababawan ng katauhan yung gumagawa ng household work, because that requires equal dedication."
