According to Manila Bulletin, Judy Ann Santos and new Kapamilya actress Iza Calzado are doing a movie this 2012, entitled Mga Mumunting Lihim. The report said that they had already started filming some scenes last Feb. 21.
“Mga Mumunting Lihim” is an indie film that was written and directed by award-winning Filipino film director Direk Joey Reyes. The said new movie is one of the 5 finalists in the DIRECTORS SHOWCASE CATEGORY of CINEMALAYA 2012, a popular Philippine Independent Film Festival and Competition to be held on July 20-29, 2012 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
This is Judy Ann and Iza’s third movie, they have previously worked in “Sabel” and “Ouija”. In this new movie Judy Ann and Iza will play Mariel and Carla characters respectively. The film also stars Janice de Belen as Olive and Agot Isidro as Sandra.
Synopsis: “Mga Mumunting Lihim” is a story about four friends whose relationship is put to the test by an unforeseen circumstance.
Meanwhile, when asked if they compromised their usual talent fees in order to work with the small budgeted film of “Mga Mumunting Lihim,” Judy Ann and Iza confirmed it by replying honestly from heart.
Judy Ann answered “for the love of everybody,” she will be doing the film.
Iza Calzado also added “parang mas malaki pa ang TF ng mga make-up artists natin,” then she laughed loudly with Judy Ann.
In the first day of the shooting of the new indie film, members of media on the set also noticed that Judy Ann Santos was blooming and have younger look. Judy Ann replied that she let her hair trimmed just for this film.
