In an interview with ABS-CBNNews.com, Santos said she is looking forward to host ABS-CBN's version of the hit cooking show, "MasterChef."
"Kung tungkol pa din sa pagluluto, I guess may lakas ng loob ako ngayon. Kumbaga may confidence na ako ng konti kasi nahasa ako sa mga bata," Santos said, referring to kiddie cooks in the culinary competition.
With her experience in "Junior MasterChef Pinoy," she said she's confident that she can do an even better job with the show's adult version, "MasterChef."
"Masaya kasi kapag bata ang kasama ko. Mas na-e-enhance mo ang pakikipag-usap mo ng maayos. Kasi with kids hindi ka pwedeng magsalita ng hindi tama baka naman sa paglaki ng mga batang ito ay ako ang kontrabida sa buhay nila," she explained.
"Malaking bagay na I have my three chefs beside me who are always there telling me what to do, telling me what words to use when it comes to culinary. So it's a good thing na it's not just me doing the show, it's all of us po," Santos added.
The "MasterChef" franchise originated with the U.K. version of the show. The American version stars celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.
Asked if she would still be working with Junior MasterChef Pinoy" chef-judges Fern Aracama, Rolando Laudico and Jayps Anglo for "MasterChef," Santos said, "Mukhang kaming apat pa rin ang magkakasama."
"Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition" will air its live cook-off finale on Saturday, February 18.
