Judy Ann Santos is now gearing up for her TV comeback, via the reality cooking show for kids, Junior Master Chef the Philippine edition. This is also the Teleserye Queen’s first-ever hosting stint and Juday revealed that she had asked husband Ryan Agoncillo for advice on how to be a good host.Juday has even asked Ryan to be present when she does her first episode. “Hindi naman ako magaling mag-adlib, hindi ako parang si Ryan na mahusay siyang magsalita. Sabi ko sa kanya, ‘Pwede bang sa rehearsal nandun ka para lang ma-guide niya ko?’ Sabi niya, ‘No, madali lang ‘yan sa ‘yo. Hindi mo na mapapansin na nagsasalita ka na kasi nae-enjoy mo na ang ginagawa mo, sa umpisa lang na kinakabahan ka.
“Sabi niya lang sa akin enjoyin ko tapos ilagay ko ‘yung lahat-lahat dun sa show,” Juday shared. “Kasi alam niya na ‘pag may mga hino-host kami. Ito kasi hindi ka rin puwedeng magkamali ng spiels kasi mga bata ang pinapaliwanagan mo, so it’s really different.” But despite the pressure, the actress is keeping her fingers crossed that she succeeds in her latest venture.
On a more personal note, the actress also shared that she and Ryan recently celebrated their second wedding anniversary with a simple celebration. “We had a thanksgiving mass sa bahay. And then we invited friends over to have a couple of drinks. Tapos may mga performers din kaming inantay,” she related. “It’s very casual invitation lang na kung sino din ‘yung mga nasa wedding noon in-invite din namin sila. Umabot na naman kami ng isang taon. Sabi nga ni Ryan, o paisa-isang taon lang muna ah, walang mahabaang promise. Let’s take it by year,” she said with a laugh.
