\"Parang Mara and Clara ang dating namin dito ni Eugene,\" revealed smashingly sexy lead actress Judy Ann Santos during the media launch of My Househusband, her OctoArts Films starrer with Ryan Agoncillo and Eugene Domingo, official entry to the 2011 Metro Manila Film Festival. \"Ako ‘yung Clara na medyo mataray at si Eugene naman ang Mara.\"

Real wife-and-husband Judy Ann and Ryan are back in the big screen together in the comedy-drama movie My Househusband as written by Mel Mendoza del Rosario and helmed by Jose Javier Reyes. The domestic story begins when Rod (Ryan) loses his job, and Mia (Judy Ann) assumes the responsibility of family breadwinner. Rod stays at home to take care of the house and their two kids while Mia works. It is a perfect domestic arrangement until Rod befriends their next door neighbor Aida (Eugene), who everybody knows is the kept woman of a rich man. As Rod and Aida\'s friendship intensifies, Mia feels all the more suspicious about their neighbor\'s intentions.

Confrontations and fights ensue when asked if they also have brawls and disagreements in their marriage after being together for years. Judy Ann admits, “Apat na araw na hindi kami nag-uusap although magkasama kami pareho sa iisang kwarto. Alone time namin ‘yun para mag-isip at humanap lang ng paraan para ‘wag muna kaming magsamang dalawa. Wala namang nabago sa amin pagdating sa relasyon. Kung meron man, siguro ‘yung pag-a-adjust lang para sa pag-aalaga sa mga bata. Kasi nagwo-work ‘yun sa amin, hindi muna kami mag-uusap.\"

When asked about the film\'s prospects against other MMFF entries, Ryan says, \"Ang lalaki ng mga kalaban naming, but what we\'re happy about is as we\'re the underdogs here. We\'re competing with giants at masaya ang maging underdog. Kakampi ko lang dito sina direk Joey, boss Orly (Ilacad of OctoArts Film), Judy Ann at Uge (Eugene). Ang suporta ng bawa\'t isa against sa mga higanteng kalaban naming ay mahalaga.
