ABS-CBN.com previously reported how Judy Ann admires Sarah for the latter's humility despite her fame. Sarah told ABS-CBN.com that she feels shy whenever she is on the set with the Queen of Teleserye. She and Judy Ann have also been getting to the chance to bond with each other while on the set.

Sarah admires Judai's talent and is inspired to give her best for the movie to be on par with the actress.

"Bagets" (Filipino slang meaning a young person) is Judai's term of endearment for Sarah.

Sarah has been enjoying doing every scene and is looking forward to the heavy drama part.

Hating-Kapatid’s casting coup

Hating-Kapatid, Viva Films’ much-awaited full-length feature, brings two of the country’s superstars, Teleserye Queen Judy Ann Santos and Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo, in a major movie project considered a casting coup!

Viva Big Boss Vic del Rosario is mighty proud of this project of a lifetime. He said, “This is the first time that Juday and Sarah will be seen in one movie. That is a casting coup in itself. But other than the two of them, we also enlisted veteran actress Gina Pareño and young actor Luis Manzano to join the cast. This is big,” he said.

The Viva producer also made sure that the movie will have the most excellent production values. Despite the already unbeatable casting, Viva Films also tapped the tried and tested tandem of Wenn Deramas and Mel Mendoza-del Rosario to direct and write the film, respectively. The biggest movie the two have worked on was the groundbreaking Ang Tanging Ina and its sequel starring Ai Ai de las Alas.

The Judy Ann-Sarah movie, working title is Hating Kapatid, tells the story of sisters Rica and Cecilia who love each other so much that they are willing to sacrifice even their personal happiness to keep intact the bond that they share.

A romance-comedy, the movie will make viewers laugh, cry, think, wish to fall and stay, in love and realize that family members should be friends, too. Both actresses will showcase their outstanding comedic talents as well as their abilities to make people cry in this unique movie.

But the Judy Ann-Sarah ticket is not the only tandem that people await in their movie. For the first time, and hot in the heels of his critically-acclaimed performance in In My Life, Luis Manzano will play Sarah’s love interest. Also in the cast of the Judy Ann-Sarah movie is the comedian of the hour, Vice Ganda and actress par excellence Gina Pareño.

BREAKING BUZZ: Judy Ann is pregnant with Ryan Agoncillo’s baby! Gina is nominated for Best Actress in the Urian Awards to be given out on April 22!
