Now it can be said: Judy Ann Santos is pregnant

Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos waited almost a year before hitting 'bull’s eye.'Celebrity couple Ryan Agocillo and Judy Ann Santos have confirmed on GMA-7’s noontime show “Eat Bulaga” that she is two months pregnant.

“Mga kaibigan, na bull’s eye po: Gumagana si Manoy. Eto po ang unang litrato ng aming baby,” Ryan said while holding up a picture of the ultrasound image of the fetus developing inside Judy Ann.

The announcement comes in the heels of rumors that have been circulating in the last few weeks that the young superstar is finally in that interesting stage, a year after they got married.

Ryan disclosed that he and Judy Ann got the result from the OB Gyne at 11 a.m. today, March 12. Ryan hinted about it on “Eat Bulaga” by saying during the early part of the show that he was going to make an announcement concerning Judy Ann.

“Two months and four days na pong nagdadalang-tao ang aking misis na si Judy Ann. Medyo natagalan lang po ng paga-announce kasi hinintay namin ‘yung totoong confirmation.

“Dahil nung mga unang lumabas ‘yung mga bali-balita, pregnancy test pa lang po. So naghintay kami ng talagang litrato. At ‘yung naririnig namin ‘yung tibok ng puso ng bata...” he explained.

The new mother, who was interviewed via phone patch, said she could hardly believe she will soon be having her own bundle of joy.

“Tao pala ako, akala ko robot ako,” she joked.

Asked if they prefer a boy or a girl for their first child, Ryan and Judy Ann said either of the two will do.

“Kahit ano. Kasi siyempre ang tagal din naming hinintay ‘to di ba? Masyado naman yatang selfish kung mamimili pa kami ng kasarian. Kahit ano, basta healthy siya,” said Judy Ann.

Ryan rejoined: “Basta ang importante magiging ate na si Yohan [their adopted child]. ‘Yun ang importante.”

Judy Ann plans to lie low from work now that she is on the family way. She said that she will just wrap up work on her existing projects before she takes a vacation.

When cajoled by the other “Eat Bulaga” hosts for a message to Ryan, Juday quipped, “Basta pondohan lang niya ‘yung bank account nung bata.”

“Kaya nga nandito na agad eh. Kumander. Sige, sweetheart...” Ryan replied, speaking directly to his wife.

So, how does Ryan plan to celebrate fatherhood?

“Baka bukas hindi ako makabangon---[kasi] lasing ako mamayang gabi!”
