“Juday and Joey Reyes Disrespected Me” -Alfie

http://all-about-news.com/juday-and-joey-reyes-disrespected-me-alfie/

Talent manager and columnist Alfie Lorenzo expressed his dismay over his most popular talent, Judy Ann Santos and veteran director Jose Javier Reyes for accepting an independent film without him knowing.

He said that he felt disrespected when he found out that Juday accepted a role over a Cinemalaya entry entitled “Mga Mumunting Lihim,” for which she refused to be paid. He also vented his grief about Reyes as he should have tell him that he will get one of his talents.
Reyes, however, admitted that he is wrong and hoped that Alfie won’t get mad at Santos.
For her side, Santos said that the rift was nothing new, it happens all the time. She’s just sad that things have gone publicly.
May mga pagkakataon na may mga sitwasyon na gugustuhin mong ayusin nalang behind the cameras because it’s too personal.

Cinemalaya Award Winners

http://www.showbiz-portal.com/2012/07/cinemalaya-award-winners.html

THE FOUR ACTRESSES who topbill “Mga Mumunting Lihim”, Judy Ann Santos, Iza Calzado, Janice de Belen and Iza Calzado portraying women who are the best of friends and enemies, all won in the best actress category of the Cinemalaya Awards Nights’ Directors Showcase held last rainy Sunday night at the CCP. They all deserve it for their fine ensemble acting, like what we wrote in our review of the film. As predicted by a lot of people, Eddie Garcia as the grumpy old gay in “Bwakaw” won as best actor. The best supporting actor was Art Acuna as the menacing police officer in “Posas” (he also won in this category last year for “Nino”.) No one won as best supporting actress. Best picture was “Posas” of Quantum Films, about corruption among our law enforcers.

In the New Breed Category, best actress was Ama Quiambao as the lonely mom of five sons in “Diablo” and best actor was Kristoffer King as the man who uses the dead for a living in “Oros”. Best supporting actress and actor were Anita Linda as the senile grandma in “Sta. Nina” and Joross Gamboa as the young man who gets back at his abusive stepdad in “Intoy Syokoy”. Best picture was “Diablo”, about a mom and her five sons which we found such tedious viewing.

Here are the other winners. For Directors Showcase: Best screenplay (by Joey Reyes) and best editing – “Mga Mumunting Lihim”. Best production design, best cinematography and best sound – “Kalayaan”. Best musical score, special jury prize and best direction (by Raymond Red) - “Kamera Obskura”. Audience award and Netpac Award – “Bwakaw”.

For New Breed category: Best editing – “The Animals”. Best sound – “Aparisyon”. Best musical score and Audience choice award – “Ang Nawawala”. Best production design – “Intoy Syokoy”. Best screenplay and special Jury prize – “Requieme”. Best cinematography, best direction (by Mes de Guzman), and Netpac Award – “Diablo”.

For the short film category: Best director - Sheron Dayoc. Best screenplay - “Paghihintay sa Bulong”. Best short film - “Victor”. Audience choice award – “Ruweda”.

Senior stars rule in the 8th Cinemalaya awards

1. Directors' Showcase, na kinapapalooban ng limang pelikulang idinirek ng mga beteranong direktor;
2. New Breed, kung saan may sampung pelikula na idinirek ng mga baguhang direktor;

SLIGHT MISUNDERSTANDING.

Nina).

OTHER ACTING AWARDS.

http://rp2.abs-cbnnews.com/entertainment/07/30/12/judai-joins-vic-sotto-bong-revilla-mmff-entry

MANILA, Philippines -- Cameras have started to roll for the all-star movie pairing of Judy Ann Santos, Vic Sotto and Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr.
Santos is part of the Metro Manila Film Festival entry, "Si Agimat, si Enteng Kabisote at Ako," with Prince of Comedy Sotto reprising his role as Enteng Kabisote and Revilla again as Panday.
Santos plays a fairy in the movie.
"Tagapangalaga ako ng kalikasan, kumbaga green goddess. Eventually magiging kasama nila Enteng at Agimat.
According to Santos this will be her first time to work with Sotto and her second with Revilla after "Minsan Ko Lang Sasabihin" in 2000.
For his part, Revilla said he is excited to work again with Santos and Sotto.
Sotto and Revilla first teamed up, essaying the same roles, in the hit movie "Si Agimat at si Enteng Kabisote" in 2010.
"Kung maalala mo noong 2010 noong nagsama kami ni Enteng sinabi namin na after a year saka kami magsasama ulit. So ito 'yung panahon na 'yon, kayo ito we are back," Revilla said.
Revilla promised moviegoers that they will definitely love their newest film, especially the story and special effects.
Sotto also assured the film's quality and entertainment value.
Sotto also admitted that his life wouldn't be complete without doing a MMFF entry.
"Parang di kumpleto ang buhay namin kapag di kasama sa festival, parang panata na," he said.

They emerged victorious

MANILA, Philippines – Despite the controversies that Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival has weathered through the years, Cinemalaya Foundation Inc. Chairman Antonio “Tonyboy” Cojuangco affirmed that the eight-year-old event will go on.
“Cinemalaya will survive… It will live on in our budding and seasoned filmmakers, in our audience and in all those who have been exposed to Cinemalaya – its experience in one form or another this past eight years. The Cinemalaya spirit will invade the local film industry, the homes and media devices of our audience, and the Internet,” Cojuangco said in his speech during the festival’s awards ceremony held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Sunday night.
This came with his announcement that the foundation “[will] be inviting four to five of this year’s filmmakers to enter their films in the Rome Film Festival this November.
“Cinemalaya has agreed to foot travel expense as the Rome Film Festival will graciously take care of board and lodging,” he added.
Still on a positive note, Cojuangco stated, “We will dream Cinemalaya. The world will dream Cinemalaya. We all will live Cinemalaya.

Photo: Noel Orsal

Bulalas niya, “Well, up to now, I’m terrified! Sobra! Especially for this gala performance!”

FEEDBACKS AND REACTIONS.
“But that’s part of it, di ba?
“Thank you... thank you!” simpleng wika niya.

RIFT WITH ALFIE LORENZO.

I’m asking for... humihingi ako ng sorry,” pakumbaba ni Direk Joey.

“So, okay... okay lang.
“Kasi, from the start, ino-offer-an ko sila ng honorarium.

“So praise God!  Praise God!” masayang pagtatapos ni Direk Joey Reyes.

PEP REVIEW: Mga Mumunting Lihim is a realistic take on friendship

Mga Mumunting Lihim is about a group of friends composed of (from left) Iza Calzado, Judy Ann Santos, Agot Isidro, and Janice de Belen.

Jose Javier Reyes likes to refer to his Cinemalaya entry, Mga Mumunting Lihim, as a “main-die” since it features mainstream stars but has the “indie” spirit. The plot is quite unconventional and features an ensemble cast of today's top-billing actresses.

The movie tells the story of four female friends, led by Mariel (Judy Ann Santos), a housewife. When Mariel dies from cancer, she leaves her diaries to her best friend Carly (Iza Calzado), a top advertising executive. Upon reading the diaries, Carly discoveres the secrets of her two remaining friends Olive (Janice de Belen) and Sandra (Agot Isidro). Soon, the secrets ruin their friendship. But what was Mariel's real intention when she left the diaries?

What's most admirable about Mga Mumunting Lihim is the tight storytelling. The movie uses a lot of flashbacks to tell back stories, and these help the plot move along, instead of muddling it.

The use of flashback also strengthened the director's use of repetition. Several scenes were repeated throughout the movie, with each repeat having more weight because of a flashback that gave it more significance.

There is also an effort not to drown in sentimentality, unlike mainstream dramas. Scenes are more realistic, and the dialogue is written like how it would be said in real life.

This makes the movie really entertaining. Where else can you see Iza, Janice and Agot use curse words and shout at each other while fighting? Janice even uses the dirty finger, which might shock some viewers.

And where else can you witness a character reconcile with a friend by cursing her? These scenes make Mga Mumunting Lihim a must-see in this year’s lineup.

Judy Ann, Iza, Agot, and Janice complement each other's performances. The scene where they drink and get high on spiked brownies is absolutely hilarious.

Mga Mumunting Lihim is one of the 5 entries competing in the Director’s Showcase category of the 8th edition of Cinemalaya. It is being screened at the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Greenbelt 3 and Trinoma until July 29, 2012.

Jose Javier Reyes says yes to ‘maindie’ with indie debut

Jose Javier Reyes (Photo courtesy of Cinemalaya)Blurring the trend of the indie/mainstream divide, Director Jose "Joey" Javier Reyes brings TV's biggest stars to this year's Cinemalaya.
"My point is to do a very small, simple movie, with recognizable, marketable mainstream stars," he told Yahoo! Philippines OMG! at the exclusive media screening of his Cinemalaya Directors Showcase entry, "Mga Mumunting Lihim" at Greenbelt 3's My Cinema on Saturday, July 14.
"Because what I want to introduce, which others have done before me, but will hopefully push further, is 'maindie.' That is using mainstream actors (in indie films) doing things that they cannot do in commercial movies," he continued, while enumerating examples like Tom Cruise in "Magnolia" and Brad Pitt in "Tree of Life."
Direk Joey's first-ever Cinemalaya film features stars that the festival has not yet seen in its lineup, the likes of Janice de Belen, Agot Isidro, Iza Calzado and Judy Ann Santos. They play friends who are coping with loss while discovering each other.
"This time—I'll be blunt about it—I'll use my influence in mainstream to bring them to Cinemalaya and hopefully, they can bring in their audience and their audience will be exposed to all the other Cinemalaya movies.
"Wouldn't that be great? If they can just go to the CCP, go to Trinoma, or to Greenbelt because they're fans of Judy Ann, of Janice, of Agot of Iza and then they realize, 'wow there are other films here.' And they learn to appreciate that, then we'd have succeeded."
He also revealed that the four main actors of his film believed in him enough ask for nothing in return, working with him just for the love of it.
Tribute
While introducing "Mga Mumunting Lihim" to the media, Direk Joey said that the film is very personal to him. And later in the interview with Yahoo! Philippines OMG! he shared that the story is inspired by the loss of his two dear friends, Khryss Adalia and Don Escudero.
"Last year, I lost one of my closest friends to cancer. And two years or so before that, another also passed away because of cancer."
He shared that it was the passing of Don Escudero last year that made him think of a lot of things, things about friendship that are captured and addressed in "Mga Mumunting Lihim."
"Losing him made me realize so many things about a. mortality, b. the value of friendship, and c. how volatile friendship is. And I wanted to do a movie to celebrate (these things), and I know I can't do that on mainstream," he explained.
Tasting freedom
When asked if he will be doing more "maindies" after his indie debut, Direk Joey responded with enthusiasm: "I hope so. I really, really, really hope so. I hope that there would be other producers who would take the risk as what Boss Orly (Ilacad) did in giving me the liberty to do my next indie."
But, he said, "do I shut my doors, as far as commercial films are concerned? No, I don't! I would still want to do mainstream movies but maybe it will be a little more difficult this time because after all these years, I've tasted freedom. And it's hard to go back."

YOUNG superstar Judy Ann Santos paid her last respect to King of Comedy Dolphy Thursday evening at the Heritage Park in Taguig City.
Juday's husband Ryan Agoncillo led the eulogy of the Kapatid Network for the late comedian.
Get updates on President Benigno Aquino III's address to nation.
In an interview after the mass, Juday said she will treasure the good words spoken to her and Ryan by the late Comedy King after the latter watched their movie "Kasal Kasali Kasalo."
Dolphy enjoyed the film and applauded Ryan and Juday's acting.
Even though the event was the celebration of Dolphy's life, Juday wasn't able to get away from the prying eyes of the press.
She was asked about her guestings on TV5 despite being an exclusive talent of ABS-CBN.
According to Juday, the Kapamilya Network has nothing against it as long as it is for her loved ones and there will be no complications on her schedule.
"It is beyond work, it is beyond professionalism. If I work, I work. If I love, I really love. Ang pagkakaibigan eh hindi naman yan nabibili, hindi napapantayan yan," the actress said.
Aside from Ryan, Juday's close friend Sharon Cuneta is now with the Kapatid Network. She guested for Sharon's debut show in the station.
"With ABS-CBN, they understand naman. As long as it's with Ate (Sharon) or Ryan, at walang katapat na show eh it's okay," she said.
Meanwhile, Juday's reaction was sought on the constant bashing of Twitter users to the Megastar.
Juday said as much as she wants to share who the real Sharon is, haters will continue to hate.
"Ganun talaga eh, iba't-ibang tao, iba't ibang opinyon. Hindi ko pwedeng ipilit yun sa kanila. Respetuhan na lang," she added. (Sunnex)

When Secrets Aren't Friendly Ghosts

Every friend has a secret. How long can one keep it? (Promotional photo)
At onset, “Mga Mumunting Lihim (‘Those Little Secrets’)” gives the impression of a “grand” film in that it boasts a stellar cast, primarily composed of mainstream thespians, and an esteemed director. But in truth, it’s an unassuming yet cleverly crafted story in homage to one of the most beautiful relationships in the world: friendship.
For a first-timer in the indie film scene, writer-director Joey Reyes brilliantly applies his expertise on storytelling and his keen sense of humanity to deliver a story that warms the heart and provokes the mind. He boldly presents his characters in their most human—they cuss if they're enraged, laugh as if it’s their last night on earth, work their arse off either for someone (including themselves), or they just had to because they feel lost in their own path.

Friendship tales may well be one of the most underutilized in cinema; well, at least locally—staples at the tills are usually the family-oriented, boy-meets-girl types of features. “Mga Mumunting Lihim” fills that void. Minute by minute, we couldn’t help but identify with Mariel (Judy Ann Santos), Carly (Iza Calzado), Sandra (Agot Isidro), or Olive (Janice De Belen). Are you the bossy type? The silent tiger? Dependant on others? Materialistic?

“Mga Mumunting Lihim” takes off unconventionally with a necrological service for the death of Mariel. As the film unfolds, Carly “inherits” Mariel’s box of journals. Little did she know that the accounts in the latter’s diaries would haunt them far worse than her ghost could ever have. Surprise, surprise: too much familiarity doesn’t guarantee a key to one’s deepest secrets or all-important trust.

Throughout the film, Direk Joey uses various storytelling techniques that takes viewers deeper into the intertwined lives of the four characters. He touched and tickled us in the right places and at the right time. The script brought to life no-nonsense women caught whether in moments of random musings, wild, public confrontations (the highlight of the film that will leave you laughing and applauding), or more poignant reflections on life, love, and loss.

In this film, we find Judy Ann, Iza, Agot, and Janice at their rawest and best. Four talented actresses with so much to give, yet there never was a moment that felt like we’re witnessing an acting showdown. And while it’s the first time we’ve seen them on the same frame together, their chemistry seemed so defined. It was as if they’ve been friends in real life since they were in kindergarten.

“Mga Mumunting Lihim” is part of the Director’s Showcase of the 2012 Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival which runs from July 20 to 29 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Trinoma, and Greenbelt.

Mga mumunting lihim (reviews)

Dodo Dayao (Cinephiles)

“Turns out a Joey Reyes artfilm is no different (at least tonally) from a Joey Reyes mainstream film, right down to the totally inaccurate advertising agency milieu (a medium-sized ad agency, itself an endangered species these names, saddled with a name like Brainstorm Trooper is not exactly the sort that goes A List, and it wouldn’t hurt to fact-check really) while trying out a handful of indie tropes as if on a whim , from shakycam (which would’ve worked for the entire film reaslly) to the dead-person-talking-to-camera that comes out of nowhere. Having said that, there is potentially volatile material here about the benign treacheries that transpire between friends sabotaged only by the need for pat closure and a not exactly insightful or profound resolution (“everything will be allright in the end” huh?). Having said that, the dialgoue is often crisp and smart and the acting is impeccable, particularly Juday.”

Jay-r Trinidad (Cinephiles)

 Skilty Labastilla (Young Critics Circle)
“The premise of friendships unraveling as hidden feelings they harbor about each other are surfaced by a diary could have been made into an interesting film but Joey Reyes does not come up with engaging back stories that support that premise. The result is a tiring string of scenes that get too old quickly when the viewer realizes that these ‘explosive’ secrets do not ultimately mean much at all to the people involved. It’s just ironic that Iza Calzado’s character tells her advertising colleagues to revise a proposed concept because it forces emotions out of viewers. Mga Mumunting Lihim itself does just that.”

Cinemalaya 2012: Thoughts on Kamera Obskura and Mga Mumunting Lihim

http://wetalkaboutmovies.com/2012/07/22/cinemalaya-2012-thoughts-on-kamera-obskura-and-mga-munting-lihim/

In Kamera Obskura, Raymond Red seemed like he wanted to say something about the current state of Philippine politics, but he certainly didn’t say it well and I’m not even sure if he said it at all.
This silent film boasts of excellent cinematography, with Red showing his masterful eye for visual direction with the film’s great play on light, darkness and the shadows that mark their interactions. The opening sequence, in particular, was well-shot and featured a clever take on perspective. But the film is weighed down by the heavy-handed use of vague political metaphors and the film’s crutch on title cards. I spent a lot of time reading the long, verbose written dialogue instead of letting the action speak for itself, which is what makes silent films great to begin with. And the movie’s cast including Pen Medina and Joel Torre was surely more than capable of conveying thoughts and ideas without the use of words.
Furthermore, there was something very off-putting about the structure of the film itself. The silent movie is actually a movie within a movie. It is book-ended by scenes featuring the critics and archivists who supposedly found the reel hailing the film as a great piece of subversive art instead of the movie leaving it up to the audience to decide its merits. Because if you ask me, the film’s incoherent political message, unoriginal critique on government (yes, we know that Philippine bureaucracy is rotten and corrupt — what are you adding to the conversation?) and sense of self-importance make Kamera Obskura fall short of greatness.
Joey Reyes’ film is a refreshing dramedy that showcases fine acting from the film’s four actresses. Upon the death of Mariel (Judy Ann-Santos), she leaves behind a box of diaries to her best friend Carla (Iza Calsado) containing her thoughts and feelings towards her and their two other friends, Sandy (Agot Isidro) and Olive (Janice de Belen). This movie is about the purging and exorcising of the secrets that lay hidden in their friendship, and the catharsis that comes along with the unveiling of these truths that may be better left unexpressed.
What makes this movie work is its script that realistically captures the complications that normally come even with the best of friendships. The backstabbing, the competitiveness, the toleration of each other’s flaws — these are all ironically part and parcel of any barkada, especially those that have lasted for a very long time. The movie examines the underlying bases of real, enduring camaraderies and the extent to which we can take crap from the people closest to us.
Great care has been taken in the writing of the four main characters, with each of them having distinct personalities and faults. Janice de Belen definitely steals the show, with her character’s frank humor and moments of tenderness and genuine sincerity making her irresistible and entertaining to watch.
Where the film falls short is in its final act where you can feel the movie overextend its stay. There are lots of moments when the movie could’ve ended, but it just goes on and on even if its not progressing the story in any way. There are also some scenes that employ shaky camera work, perhaps to achieve a sense of realism or authenticity, but it makes the quality of those sequences amateurish. But overall, the film’s tight script and the way it reaches back to its characters’ personal histories and condenses it all in the present proves that if you have a good story, you just need to tell it well to make a good movie. If only mainstream Philippine cinema were more like this.

Mga Mumunting Lihim :film Review

 http://www.clickthecity.com/movies/?p=15696

Mga Mumunting Lihim is director Jose Javier Reyes’ first real stab at making an independent film. It tells the story of Carla (Iza Calzado), a successful ad executive who discover that her late best friend Mariel (Judy Ann Santos) had left her a box of diaries. Carla reads through the diaries and discovers all sorts of things that her best friend had kept from her. Carla begins to realize that no one in her little circle of friends has been entirely truthful, and they soon confront each other over all these secrets. The film’s great insight is that friendship is often far more complex than simply being nice to each other. Human beings, prone as they are to failure and frailty, can be quite awful to each other. And sometimes friendships are maintained simply by inertia and an unspoken agreement that no one has to hear the awful truth about each other.

It’s a fine effort from one of the consistently capable writers in our industry. But the direction is a little all over the place. The film can’t quite decide on a treatment, and seems to err on the side of aping an “indie” aesthetic. And thus there’s a sequence that’s handheld and too often out of focus, and adventurous, overlapping editing that doesn’t quite serve the material. The film is actually really great when it just settles down and allows the characters to talk. They are, after all, played by some of the finest actresses in the country. The film does find its rhythm, and though there are portions of it that I really didn’t like, the sum ends up being much greater than the parts.

ALLAN DIONES

Verdict: Value for Money
Pinoy Rebyu Score: 3.31 (8 ratings)
Genre: Drama
Writer/Director: Jose Javier Reyes
Cast:  Judy Ann Santos, Iza Calzado, Agot Isidro, Janice de Belen
Synopsis: The death of Mariel (JUDY ANN SANTOS) was met with such hurt by her three closest friends.  But it was her best friend, Carla (IZA CALZADO) that she leaves a most special gift, a box full of her diaries through the years.  Carla has been Mariel’s friend since their high school years; they have practically shared everything in their lives together.  Their two other girl friends, Sandra (AGOT ISIDRO) and Olive (JANICE DE BELEN) formed the quartet who would get together ever so often and served as a mutual support system.  Despite warnings from Sandra and Olive not to read the diaries left behind by Mariel, Carla could not help herself  to find out what was written on those volumes of handwritten materials.  True enough, what she discovered completely shattered all her perceptions and beliefs of the friendship shared by the four women through the years.  Inside those diaries were all the little secrets that the women kept from one another—all the hidden emotions, stories and comments that made their lives a sham.  Death should be a closure but it could also be a terrible beginning and realization of what was hidden by the living.

Reviews:
4.0       Mario Bautista (Showbiz Portal)
“Vastly entertaining and both hilarious and tragic.” (Read full review)
4.0      Allan Diones (Abante Tonite)
(Read full review)
4.0       Fidel Antonio Medel (Cinephiles)
“Vicious dialogue. A bit overblown. But thoroughly enjoyable & affecting. Great acting from the 4 leads.”
3.5       Philbert Dy (Click the City)
“The film is actually really great when it just settles down and allows the characters to talk. They are, after all, played by some of the finest actresses in the country. The film does find its rhythm, and though there are portions of it that I really didn’t like, the sum ends up being much greater than the parts.” (Read full review)
3.5        Vinny Tagle (We Talk About Movies)
“What makes this movie work is its script that realistically captures the complications that normally come even with the best of friendships.” (Read full review)
3.5         Jay-r Trinidad (Cinephiles)
2.5         Dodo Dayao (Cinephiles)
1.5          Skilty Labastilla (Young Critics Circle)
“The premise of friendships unraveling as hidden feelings they harbor about each other are surfaced by a diary could have been made into an interesting film but Joey Reyes does not come up with engaging back stories that support that premise. The result is a tiring string of scenes that get too old quickly when the viewer realizes that these ‘explosive’ secrets do not ultimately mean much at all to the people involved. It’s just ironic that Iza Calzado’s character tells her advertising colleagues to revise a proposed concept because it forces emotions out of viewers. Mga Mumunting Lihim itself does just that.”

When both parents are big stars, many may wonder how they juggle both parenthood and show business.
This August, celebrity parents Ryan and Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo give YES! an exclusive look into their family life, with stories of their marriage, their children, their parenting tips, and their adventures together.
All are captured in the nearly 100 photos of the family, taken by the man of the house himself, Ryan Agoncillo.
Ryan and Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo’s family may elicit second glances from onlookers whenever they go out. The family is a high-profile one, what with both parents appearing on TV.
But behind the fame are two devoted parents to daughter Yohan, 7, and son Lucho, 1.
“We enjoy parenting our kids, we enjoy us,” says Ryan on how parenthood changed the game for both him and Judy Ann.
The hands-on parents make sure that they get as much family time as possible and find ways to bond with their kids.
Judy Ann would wake up early to prepare breakfast for her family while Ryan would take the time to play with Lucho over video games before leaving for his hosting job.
Judy Ann and Ryan are also firm in teaching their children the value of discipline and responsibility.
Last Christmas, they gifted their daughter with a play area in a nearby lot and named it Camp Yohan. The camp is a full-fledged play area, complete with tent, trampoline, monkey bars, badminton net, and portable swimming pool.
Judy Ann and Ryan want their children to enjoy the outdoors. “Active naman siya [Yohan] to begin with, pero we want to push it further.
Spending time at Camp Yohan also proved to be a great bonding activity between brother and sister.
“Si Lucho at si Yohan, naghahanapan ‘yan parati. Every morning ‘yan, naglalaro sila.
Explaining adoption was not an easy thing and Judy Ann and Ryan knew that they should explain the delicate situation well to Yohan.
Aside from agreeing to be partners and respecting each other’s decision when it comes to parenting, Judy Ann and Ryan also find time to schedule trips together as a couple.

Last January, the two went on a honeymoon vacation in the Maldives where they celebrated their third wedding anniversary.
The family also went to Japan this year where they enjoyed dining, sightseeing, and shopping.

YES! also pays tribute this month to the King of Comedy, as YES! looks back on his early life and showbiz career with over 148 photos of the late, great comedian.
Actress Julia Montes graces this month’s pages, too, as she takes YES! on a tour of her dream home in Antipolo City.
