MANILA, Philippines - On the September 26 airing of “The Buzz,” Judy Ann Santos shared her feelings as the birth of her first biological son draws near.
Already, Juday and husband Ryan Agoncillo have already picked a named for their boy—Juan Luis, whose nickname would be Lucho (as spelled out by Ryan).
Weeks before the report, several baby showers were held for Judy Ann; and she admitted that while it helped them prepare the nursery for the baby, she realized something else.
“Okay na siya, natapos na siya,” she said of the nursery.
In a separate and exclusive interview with Bulletin Entertainment at a dinner for select media for the new Chevrolet Cruze—for which he had been hand-picked as the first-ever local celebrity brand ambassador—Ryan also talked briefly about the baby showers.
Parang naka-apat na shower ata last week,” he joked.
He also shared his wish for Lucho, “I hope he looks like his mom… para magka-chance pang tumagkad,” he laughed.
But Juday, on “The Buzz,” had a different take. “Excited siya, sobrang excited siya,” she said of Ryan. “Pingauusapn namin, ‘pag lumabas ba ‘tong batang to… Si Lucho, kapag kamuha niya tapos kaugali ko, parang mas masama,” she also joked.
But all kidding aside, Juday also admitted to some mixed feelings—perhaps the nervousness felt by most young, new parents.
“We’re very, very excited kung papano ba namin palalakihin itong dalawang bata na wala naman kaming training eh.
But she added that she could always count on her mother. Of Mommy Carol, she had this to say: “Ay super excited… ngayon pa nga lang pinapakain na niya ako ng halaan eh… malunggay.
Judy Ann also shared that her and Ryan’s adopted daugher, Yohan (Johanna Lois), had also been excited about her soon-to-be baby brother.

‘Mommy, when Lucho comes out, I will stay with you ha… I will take care of Lucho, I will give him a bath.’ Very ate. Excited talaga siyang maging ate…
But as the video ended, “The Buzz” host Boy Abunda shared his own thoughts, which would have made Juday Ann happy for sure. “Juday may not have finished a master’s degree but she’s one of the smartest girls I’ve know,” he declared. “All the best to you and Ryan.”
