Cosmo.ph waited for young superstar Judy Ann Santos to finish all her press interviews when we came by just to take a peek inside her bag. It was really worth the wait because the Habang May Buhay actress willingly showed us the stuff she brought inside her white Chanel knapsack, which was given to her by her Ate Sharon Cuneta.The Megastar and the the Queen of Teleserye formed a special bond when they worked together in Joel Lamangan’s movie Magkapatid in 2002. Since then, they’ve considered themselves as “sisters-in-showbiz.” In fact, Sharon was Judy Ann's matron-of-honor when she wed Ryan Agoncillo in April 2009.While changing out of her outfit for the press conference of Lactacyd, which she endorses, her personal makeup artist Nonong Geronaga assisted Cosmo.ph in taking out the things inside her bag, including her most preferred perfume. Too bad, Cosmo.ph was not able to get the brand of her perfume because while reading the bottle, Judy Ann immediately grabbed it from us. "Ay, huwag na ’tong pabango. Para wala akong masyadong makapareha," laughingly said the actress, who is expecting a child.

On what was to be recorded as one of the hottest days for the year, principal photography started on the feature length film "Ikaw Ang Pag-ibig" starring Judy Ann Santos, Ryan Agoncillo, Marvin Agustin, Vivian Velez, Christopher de Leon, and Yogo Singh.

Vice, who's gaining notices for his judge role on the daily "Showtime," says he's prioritizing work on "Hating Kapatid," the Judy Ann Santos-Sarah Geronimo comedy-drama. "Lumalaki na kasi ang tiyan ng lola mo," Vice says, referring to Juday, who's happily pregnant with her first child by Ryan Agoncillo. Roderick Paulate starred in the original Petra.

The top-rating primetime teleserye Habang May Buhay is nearing its dramatic conclusion and Teleserye Queen Judy Ann Santos of course couldn’t help but feel sad about it. The taping for the said drama has recently wrapped up also due to the fact that Judai needs to rest because of pregnancy.


However, given her condition, fans are worried that Judai might be leaving showbiz for good to focus on her duties as a wife and mother. In an interview with Showbiz News Ngayon, Judai said she promises to return to work soon after she gives birth. “Oo naman. Basta ba may magandang project. I made a promise naman na hangga’t kakayanin babalik naman ako sa trabaho kaagad.”


For now, Judai will take a breather from the stress of showbiz. She further talked about her and Ryan’s plans to go on vacation. “Finished na ako sa first trimester ko so hindi na siya (pregnancy) delikado. Baka matuloy na ‘yung bakasyon. Baka sa America o kahit saang place na hindi kami mai-stress masyado. Kapag hindi kasi namin tinake itong bakasyon na ito, hindi na talaga kami makakaalis.”


The actress also revealed that apart from her and Ryan, their eldest daughter Yohan is very excited to see the newest addition in their family. “Every morning mag-good morning na sa akin ‘yan si Yohan. Hahalik siya sa tummy ko. May mga times sasabihin niya, ‘Mommy, I want to go inside your tummy I want to see your baby already!’ Maalaga. Kapag may nakikita siyang bagong drink akong iniinom. ‘Mommy are you drinking wine?!’ Naku, mas istrikto pa sa tatay!”


Judai confessed that unlike many expecting mothers, she doesn’t have the usual cravings. She does find it odd though that she insists on having her husband Ryan around her most of the time. “Ewan ko ba basta madalas ko siyang nababatukan, ha ha ha! Basta nanggigigil ako sa kanya. Gusto ko nakadikit lang ako sa kili kili niya. ‘Wag naman sanang magmukhang kili kili ‘yung anak namin,” she jokingly said.

Ryan, Juday robbed of Holy Week getaway

Couple Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos would have wanted to travel for their second honeymoon, but the vacation rush got in the way.

"Naubusan kami ng resort for Holy Week. Dapat naka-booked na kami by this time. Medyo hindi kasi madali ang requirements namin."

He detailed the requirements. "We needed a pool for Yohan. At hindi puwedeng public pool ang buntis. 'Yung iba naman may private, masyadong mahaba ang biyahe, may lipad na, may boat pa."

Ryan told reporters during the TV5 launch they initially wanted to go abroad. "Although hindi naman siya pinagbabawalan ng doctor niya to travel, huwag na lang muna. The way pregnancy goes, sabi naman ng doctor, puwede namang mag-travel."

Ryan said he'd rather not take chances. "Hindi naman 'yan 100 percent sure na may mangyayari at hindi rin naman niya maibigay na 100 percent sure, walang mangyayari. So, the risk was on us.''

Excited dad Ryan Agoncillo shares details about Judy Ann's pregnancy

Hindi na natuloy ang planong second honeymoon ng mag-asawang Ryan Agoncillo at Judy Ann Santos dahil bago pa man sila makaluwas ng bansa, nakumpirma nila ang pagdadalang-tao ni Juday.

"Actually, sabi ng doctor, puwede namang mag-travel. Hindi naman 'yan 100% sure na may mangyayari or hindi rin niya mabigay na 100% sure na walang mangyayari, so, all the risk is our own. So, we decide na huwag na lang," bungad ni Ryan.

Kaso fully-booked na rin daw ang mga resort this Holy Week, lalo na yung mga lugar na pasok sa requirements ng mag-asawa.

Kuwento niya, "We need a pool for Yohan, at hindi kasi puwedeng public pool sa buntis. Kailangan it's a [private] pool, di ba? E, it can't be a common pool. Naubusan kami ng resort na may sariling pool ang villa. 'Tapos, yung iba naman na may private, masyadong mahaba ang biyahe. May lipad na, may boat pa."

JUDAY'S PREGNANCY. Nagkuwento rin si Ryan tungkol sa pagbubuntis ni misis.

"Well, yung pagsusuka, hindi naman madalas. Hindi naman violent. Yun ang tinanong ng doctor, e, kung violent. It's not. And then, madali lang siyang antukin ngayon, which I think is usual. May cravings at meron din siyang amoy na hindi niya ma-take, gaya ng isda at gulay.

"It's different for her. She doesn't wanna eat beef and pork but now, she eats beef and pork."

On their daughter Yohan, excited na rin daw ito na maging ate.

Tantiya raw ni Ryan, nasa two months and two weeks na ang ipinagbubuntis ni Juday ngayon. Tinatapos na lang ni Juday ang mga commitments niya.

"Right now, she's finishing commitments na lang na natanguan na niya noon. Hindi na muna siya tatanggap ng mga bagong commitments kung mabigat din kasi. I know tumanggap siya ng commercial, madali lang naman, one day shoot lang naman, pictorial, one day shoot lang. Pero yung mga long-term commitments, wala, wala muna," sabi ni Ryan, na ang talent manager ay si Noel Ferrer.

Noong kausap namin si Ryan sa launching ng TV5, naikuwento niyang one taping na lang si Juday saHabang May Buhay, isang TV series sa ABS-CBN, while her movie with Sarah Geronimo ay less than a week na lang daw ang shooting. Yung pelikula naman daw with Marilou Diaz-Abaya ay magkakaroon na lang ng ilang changes na, sa pagkakaalam niya, posibleng mag-inject ng pregnancy sa story.

Dugtong ni Ryan, "Ang original plan naman nun is to finish it before April ends. So, after that, parang pahinga na lang muna."

Hindi naman masagot g host ng Talentadong Pinoy ang sinasabing inuulan na ng endorsements ang baby nila kahit na nasa tummy pa lang ito ni Juday.

"Hindi ko pa alam. Wala pang sinasabi sa akin. Sa totoo lang, hindi ko pa alam. Baka nasa level pa lang ni Juday at hindi pa niya tinatanong sa akin, so, wala pa akong awareness," aniya.

If ever, okay sa kanya?

Sogot ni Ryan, "Siguro pag-aralan na lang natin kapag nandiyan na. We'll study. I'll study it. Pero sa ngayon, hindi pa ako makapag-comment kasi, wala pa namang nakakarating sa akin."

GROWING WITH TV5. On the other hand, masasabing isa si Ryan sa mga artistang unang nagtiwala saTV5. Nagsimula siya bilang host ng Philippine Idol noong 2006.

Nakita niya ang halos lahat ng major developments na pinagdaanan ng network.

Ang mahabang kuwento ng host-actor, "Alam mo, maganda, kasi I started with TV 5 when it was still ABC 5, noong si Mr. [Tonyboy] Cojuangco pa ang may-ari, and when the Malaysian came in and, now, MVP [Manny V. Pangilinan]. Masaya. There was mutual trust naman from the beginning with channel 5.

"Sila Mr. [Robert] Barreiro, sila Mr. Percy Intalan ang pumusta sa akin noon. Philippine Idol. We grew together. Napagkukuwentuhan namin. Ang crew ko ngayon sa Talentadong Pinoy, sila yung crew ko saPhilippine Idol. Yung staff and crew...So, kuwentuhan. Pare-pareho kaming nakikita namin ang growth ngTV5

Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos postpone their Europe trip

Just a few months ago, husband-and-wife Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos were pretty vocal regarding their plan to go for a grand month-long vacation this coming summer. According to them, it is supposed to be their second shot for an intimate honeymoon and an organized birthday treat to themselves. But now that they have a baby along the way, it seems that their summer plans have to change. Instead of exploring the outdoors, like they usually do, they said that they now prefer staying at home.

In a short interview with Showbiz News Ngayon, Ryan himself confirmed that he and Judy Ann will be postponing their Europe adventure. Apparently, they are very concerned with their baby's welfare, so long and strenuous trips as such will have to wait. As Ryan himself phrased, " Di muna sa ngayon. We'll wait for two to three months for the ultrasound. Then kapag okay naman yung baby, then tsaka na lang 'don."
