Juday to host ABS-CBN reality show 'I Do'

http://www.pinoybreakingnews.info/2014/01/juday-to-host-abs-cbn-reality-show-i-do.html

MANILA -- Even while she is still busy with the hit game show "Bet On Your Baby," actress Judy Ann Santos is already gearing up for her newest hosting job as ABS-CBN announced its biggest and newest reality show "I Do."

On Monday, Santos, along with ABS-CBN executives led by TV Production head Laurenti Dyogi, attended the blessing of the show's "reality village" at Lancaster Estates in Cavite.
According to Santos, "I Do" is an original reality show of ABS-CBN, which has scored several hits with franchised versions of foreign shows such as "Pinoy Big Brother" and "The Voice of the Philippines."

In "I Do," which will air in the last quarter of the year, nine couples will live in the Cavite village. The winning pair will get the wedding of their dreams, as well as a house and lot and a car, the host-actress said.

Judy Ann Santos poses for a photo with the 'I Do' reality village in Cavite in the background.

"It's actually to inspire people na kailangan kilalanin muna nila ang ka-partner nila for the rest of their lives. So nandito kami to guide them kung ano talaga ang proseso kung halimbawang naging mag-asawa sila," she said.

It's a vow na kailangang panindigan," she stressed, noting that the show will have marriage councilors, who will tell the contestants about the harsh realities of married life.
Santos pointed out the Cavite village was created just for the show, which will be co-hosted by comedian and former "Pinoy Big Brother" (PBB) housemate Jason Gainza.

A look at the 'I Do' reality village in Cavite.
"Bongga talaga siya at napakabonggang pressure din ito para sa akin," admitted Santos, who previously hosted the reality cooking show, "MasterChef Pinoy Edition."
Santos has been married to host-actor Ryan Agoncillo for five years and her own experiences as a wife and mother will be put to good use in "I Do."

So it's fun, but at the same time, it's a test sa akin kung kakayanin ko ba."
Santos describes the complexity of the show as "Pinoy Big Brother" multiplies five times since there are several houses for the contestants, each monitored by 11 cameras.

"Siguro at the end of the year magiging famous ang village na ito at ang cute niya, parang Lego," Santos said.
Meanwhile, Santos announced that she aready started taping the second season of her current game show, "Bet On Your Baby."

JUDY ANN SANTOS-AGONCILLO SHARES HER EXPERIENCE AS A DAUGHTER OF A FORMER OFW

http://lionheartv.net/2014/03/judy-ann-santos-agoncillo-shares-her.html
Many Filipinos were moved by last Saturday’s (March 15) episode of “Bet On Your Baby,” where the game show once more connected children with their parents who were miles away as overseas Filipino workers.

The show bridged the gap through touching video calls where OFW fathers expressed their support for their babies as contestants on “Bet On Your Baby” as they participated in the Baby Dome challenges—making not only the children happy, but their mommies as well.

Even “Bet On Your Baby” host Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo was moved to talk about how she was separated from her mother at an early age, because her mother had to work in Canada in order to fully support Judy Ann and her siblings.

This Saturday (March 22) on “Bet On Your Baby,” even more babies of the country’s new heroes, the Philippines’ OFWs, will be joining in on the family fun.

Meet baby Kean Quizon, the son of an employee in Singapore; baby Baste Billos, whose mother is a domestic helper in Hong Kong; and babies Ruzzel John and Ruzzel James, the children of a welder based in Australia.

Judy Ann Santos to leave ‘Bet on Your Baby’?

Judy Ann Santos to leave 'Bet on Your Baby'

Actress-host Judy Ann Santos is reportedly leaving her new Kapamilya game show, Bet On Your Baby, due to medical reasons. The unconfirmed reports broke a few days before Judy Ann’s husband, Ryan Agoncillo’s game show, Picture! Picture!, premiered on rival network GMA last Saturday. The couple’s shows air on the same time slot.
According to the grapevine, Juday is pregnant with her and Ryan’s third child. The actress-host was reported to have been under the weather lately which was the reason why several tapings for BOYB were packed-up early so that she can take some rest.
Meanwhile, Ryan neither confirmed nor denied the pregnancy rumors in an interview for the promotion of his new game show. He said they have yet to see a doctor to determine if his wife is really on the family way. He also appealed to the public not to speculate about the pregnancy, but to just wait for their official announcement.
“Sa ngayon, we don’t know yet. We’re waiting to have an appointment with the doctor. Kaya sa ngayon, hintay-hintay muna,” Ryan said onStarTalk last Saturday.
Ryan also admitted that he hopes that Juday is really pregnant as they already have plans of having another baby. He added that their adopted daughter Yohan and 3-year-old son son Lucho are already asking for another sibling.
Despite hosting rival shows, the couple remains sweet and even greeted each other on their respective programs.
“Honey, I know you are watching. Uuwi na ako at sana, masarap pa rin ang dinner,” Ryan said at the end of Picture! Picture!
Juday greeted her family at the end of BOYB with, “I love you Ry, Yohan and Lucho!”

http://www.pinoyparazzi.com/judy-ann-santos-direktang-kinalaban-ng-asawang-si-ryan-agoncillo/

In short, happy family sila. Namumuhay na matahimik at walang intriga kahit both are very active sa showbiz. Hindi nila pinaghahalo ang showbiz sa trabaho.
Judy-Ann-Santos-Ryan-AgoncilloBut this time sa bangayan ng shows nila, bahagi kaya ito ng sinasabing network war na malamang madadamay (kahit hindi sinasadya) ang buhay ng bilang mag-asawa.
Professionally, nagsimula na ang bangayan ng dalawa last Saturday at sana, huwag umabot ang rating war at dala-dala nila ito after the show at iuuwi sa kanilang bahay.
As of this writing, hindi pa namin nakakausap ang manager ni Ryan na si Noel Ferrer to shed light on this.

http://www.pinoyparazzi.com/ryan-agoncillo-ayaw-pang-kumpirmahin-ang-pagbubuntis-ni-judy-ann-santos/

"Bet On Your Baby," Judy Ann's newest bet

Philippines' newest television game show "Bet on your Baby" host Mrs. Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo still sexy and fab during the show's presscon

Pero mas 'yung pag umuuwi ka, you look forward to going home because you want to check on your kids, you want to see them before they go to sleep, totoo 'yun eh, 'yung wala kang ibang gustong gawin kundi bahay-trabaho, trabaho-bahay. Iba- iba tayo ng experiences sa mga mommies natin, mga kaibigan natin na naging mommies, hindi pwedeng i-compare, ako, ang nangyari sa'kin nang naging nanay ako, mas naging energetic ako, napapansin ko 'yung mas madalas ako nakangiti para sa mga anak ko... hindi dahil kailangan ako nakangiti, pero ano lang, you're just happy complete when you're a mommy," Mrs. Judy Ann Santos- Agoncillo sincerely shared when asked about the things she's learned about being a mother during "Bet on your Baby" presscon held at the 9501 14th floor, ELJ building in ABS-CBN compound, Quezon City.

"Bet on your Baby," is ABS-CBN's newest game show and family treat, hosted by well loved, highly acclaimed tv personality and hands-on mom, Judy Ann Santos- Agoncillo that will have its pilot episode this Saturday, October 19, 2013 after TV Patrol. Judy Ann is so proud of this show as it shares both education and enjoyment to the televiewers, the participating kids and their respective parents or families.

Ms. Judy Ann was so excited to tell that during one of the newest game show's tapings, she had her son, Lucho, who's now almost three years old,  played in one of the challenges there. Juday was so proud of her son because they succeeded in that particular task, Lucho had to put all the towers down except for the yellow ones. Too bad, they weren't able to record it, but I can see on Ms. Juday's eyes and reaction how she really enjoyed and was so thrilled about her upcoming game show, "Bet on your Baby," and will be the first of its kind here in the Philippines, since it was originated from United States that premiered on ABC just last April 13, 2013.

Judy Ann, having a great time while on the "Bet on your Baby" set

A lot were curious and asking, why did they choose the age group of 2-3 1/2 years old to be the required age for the babies to qualify for the show, Ms. Juday has explained very well that, during that age of our kids, they get to listen to their parents and at the same time, curious of the things happening around them. It is the stage wherein they are at their most active mode or in other words, super hyper. They do things because they like to, doesn't matter if it's right or wrong, and those characteristics are the best requirements for the show. Kids love colors, when they see different colors, they all feel they're already in Disneyland. She also said that, this is the most "innocent" moment of their lives.

Still about the show, there's a portion there where Juday gets to converse with the parents that join the show, Juday admitted that she was able to relate with them and she immediately took a liking to the kids she has met on the show, "It's easy to love the program because you're dealing with babies, and you can't go wrong with that," according to the host. The connection that she formed with the families that she has met on the show so far is one that she hopes will branch out to inspire other Filipino families, especially with the show presenting techniques that parents and children can take into their own homes.

"I'm just hopeful that we can inspire people to enjoy having their kids around. 'Bet on your Baby' is here to help parents enjoy their kids more. Besides, being a parent, I learned that, when it comes to your children, you don't want to miss any moment. It's important to be beside them in whatever they go through. I think when you come to that point, it's true that you become selfless. It's true that you smile without reason. All of a sudden there's so much more value in your being alive," according to Juday.

Another great reason to look forward to every Saturday night for us, dear readers. But wait! We can also expect some dance moves from Ms. Judy Ann :-), isn't it so exciting?! Miss her 'That's Entertainment" days! Well definitely, "Bet on your Baby," is Judy Ann's newest bet!!!

Judy Ann Santos charts career movements

http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/entertainment/10/18/13/judy-ann-santos-charts-career-movements

'Bet On Your Baby' joins ABS-CBN's 'Yes! Weekend'
MANILA -- Judy Ann Santos, dubbed local TV's "Queen of Pinoy Soap Opera," considers her latest project as a "breather" from the dramatic roles she has become known for in the last two decades.
The 35-year-old actress, who recently inked a two-year contract with ABS-CBN, said "Bet On Your Baby" was a big factor in extending her ties with the Kapamilya network.
The Philippine adaptation of the game show, which features as contestants two- to three-year-old children, will premiere Saturday on ABS-CBN after "TV Patrol: Weekend."
"I would say yes," Santos said during a recent press conference for the show, when asked if she saw the project appealing when it was first offered to her.
"Kasi breather siya eh. Parang bagung-bago, tapos walang iyak na kasali and at the same time, masaya lang. So ngayon, gusto ko muna gumawa ng project na masaya lang," she said.
In the original format of "Bet On Your Baby," toddlers are accompanied by their parents in a series of challenges. How well the parents can guess their respective babies' next move in these tests will determine the winner of the show.
Joining the Kapamilya program's first episodes as contestants are celebrity parents Ai Ai delas Alas, Benjie Paras, Anthony Taberna, Michael Flores, and Ogie Diaz, among others.
So maiba naman."
'Bet On Your Baby' host Judy Ann Santos poses with toddler contestants on the new Kapamilya game show, which premieres in October. Photo: Handout
Santos, herself with two children, hopes "Bet On Your Baby" will start a cycle of projects that will allow her to do more fun-filled shows, in addition to taking on dramatic roles.
"Siguro 'yung plataporma ng career ko ngayon, ano, is to juggle muna drama and then a different and then maybe a movie and then drama again, para hindi iisa lang 'yung ginagawa mo," she said.
Prior to "Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala," Santos hosted two editions of the reality cooking show "MasterChef," which she noted to be different from being a game show master as in "Bet On Your Baby."
Admitting she has had to adjust to the demands of being an "energetic" TV host, Santos said she nonetheless finds fulfillment in her latest job description.
"Good vibes lang siya. Masaya lang siya. Isa siyang game show na no-brainer. Pampa-kilig lang sa mga mommies, pampa-proud sa mga babies, atsaka sa dami ng mga pinagdadaanan natin ngayon, parang oras na na makakita tayo ng game show na walang uuwing walang dala," she said.

Judy Ann Santos asks understanding for Sharon Cuneta’s reaction to allegations against her husband

092713-Judy_Main.jpgKapamilya soap opera queen Judy Ann Santos has once again rallied to the side of her “Ate,”Megastar Sharon Cuneta who recently drew flak anew after defending her husband, former senator Kiko Pangilinan, from being dragged into the controversial P10-billion Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) scam through a series of tweets that she has since deleted.

During his privilege speech on Wednesday, Senator Jinggoy Estrada, one of the legislators currently facing plunder charges due to his purported involvement in the massive scam, lamented how the Commission on Audit has been seemingly biased in highlighting irregularities in the fund disbursement of government officials, among them allegedly were those of the Megastar’s husband.

While the speech was ongoing, the actress took to her Twitter account her surprise and at the same time fury as she defended her husband from the nasty accusation.

“If anyone reading this can prove to me that my husband has stolen any amount from his PDAF in his 12 years as senator, I will give you P10 million in cash and I will leave my husband.

“That is how confident I am. Sorry, HINDI KAMI MAGNANAKAW,” posted the Megastar on Wednesday.

As one of the closest friends of the seasoned actress, Juday, during the press conference of her upcoming game show Bet On Your Baby on Thursday, has underscored that if she were put in the same situation as her Ate Sharon, she would probably be feeling the exact same thing.

“Ako I understand what Ate Sharon is going through kasi asawa siya di ba?

Juday continued and said she sees nothing wrong that the outspoken Megastar made her disappointment publicly known, saying that, “Intindihin natin na sa bawat partner ng mgapoliticians, especially yung mga may paraan para ilabas ang saloobin nila…

Juday added that we live in a democratic country where virtually everyone has a right to air their grievances about certain matters, it’s just that, “Nama-magnify lang kasi artista pero I guess halimbawa ordinaryong tao ang gagawa nu’n hindi papansinin, baka suportahan pa.

PDAF scam
Juday, who was just cleared from her P3.4-million tax evasion case early this year, also expressed dismay over the existence of a pork barrel scam, wherein the funds that are supposedly for public consumption were allegedly pocketed by conniving legislators, agencies, and private individuals.

What saddens her the most, Juday said, was the fact that that she was among the millions of Filipino taxpayers who made an effort to perform her duty in paying her taxes accordingly.

With the recent calamities and the ongoing siege in Zamboanga, for Juday, the P10-billion pesos involved in the scam could have been put to a far better use. “Though wala naman tayong [buong idea] dahil hindi pa klaro kung ano ba talaga ang nangyayari but well awarenaman tayo na nanakawan tayo ng malaking halaga at hindi ito basta basta pera. Yung 10 billionang daming pera [nu’n at ang dami] ng pwedeng magawa dun ah,” blurted the award-winning actress.

Many celebs have weighed in on this issue which has been linked to the showbiz industry due to the simple fact that two of the three senators charged with plunder last Monday are celebrities, namely: Sen. Jinggoy and Sen. Bong Revilla Jr.

Asked what her reaction was that celebrities are involved in this controversy, Juday, pleaded with the public, as well as the presiding officials of the investigations, to just “disregard” the fact that they are celebrities but rather to just rechannel their energies and efforts in resolving the case as quick as possible. Ang sa akin lang, let’s get to the bottom of this. Let’s finish this already and hanapan na ng solusyon. Stop pinpointing and solusyunan na kasi the more na pinapatagal the more na tayong ninanakawan,” she ended.
