The superstar says she wants to have more time for her children next year.
2012 has been a memorable year for Judy Ann Santos. The veteran actress returned to showbiz this year after a self-imposed hiatus, and with the number of projects she’s currently juggling, it really seems as if she had never left the limelight. For 2013, however, Juday, as she is fondly called by her fans, wants to devote more of her time to her family.
“Siguro, ang 2013, mas sisiguraduhin ko lang na mas magiging relaxed lang ako at magkakaroon ako ng mas maraming oras sa mga anak ko,” she was quoted in an article on PEP.ph. “Kasi parang itong mga nakaraang buwan, I’m really occupied with work and nalulungkot ako pag hindi ko sila nakikita (I think I'll make sure that I'm more relaxed in 2013. I also want to have more time for my children, because it seems like I've been too occupied with work these past months, and I feel sad when I don't get to see them.).”
Judy Ann also shared that her children, Johan and Lucho, are starting to appreciate her work as an actress. Yohan, she says, is excited to watch her upcoming movie, Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote at Si Ako, which will be part of the Metro Manila Film Festival.
“Happy ako kasi naiintindihan na ni Yohan 'yung ginagawa ko and, at the same time, para sa mga bata talaga 'yung pelikula (I'm happy because Yohan already understands what I'm doing and, at the same time, this movie is really for the kids),” she shared, adding that her daughter might even ask for a costume similar to what she wore for the film.
“Si Lucho hindi pa niya naiintindihan 'yun, e,” she continued. “Pero pag nakikita niya ako sa TV, sinasabi lang niya, ‘That’s mommy’s work, that's mommy’s work! Alam niya (Lucho doesn't understand these things yet. But when he sees me on TV, he says, 'That's mommy's work, that's mommy's work! He knows that.).”
When asked if she and her husband, Ryan Agoncillo, are planning to have another child, the actress answered that she’d rather leave it up to fate for now.
“Kung ibibigay sa amin ang biyayang iyan, ibibigay. Kung mangyayari, mangyayari (If we're meant to have that blessing, we will have it. If it's supposed to happen, it will happen),” she said, smiling.
