Vic Sotto ngayon lang nakakabiruan si Sen. Bong

Pang-Masa ( Article MRec ), pagematch: 1, sectionmatch: 1

Judy Ann Santos now knows the secrets behind her leading men's sex appeal
Judy Ann Santos now knows the secrets behind her leading men's sex appeal
MANILA, Philippines-- Judy Ann Santos' stellar power is expected by some to add at least P100 million to the box-office returns of her upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry co-starring Senator Bong Revilla and Vic Sotto.
It's not such a tall order considering the math of the matter: When Vic and Bong teamed up for “Si Agimat At Si Enteng Kabisote” in 2010, the film shattered box-office records by earning P159 million. The following year, when both stars released their respective films, Vic’s “Enteng ng Ina Mo” earned more than P237 million while Bong's “Ang Panday 2” raked in more than P105 million.
As for Judy Ann Santos, she made the P100 million MMFF club with “Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo” (grossed P122 million in 2007) and “Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo” (P140 million in 2006).
So, really, contributing nine digits to the total loot is no big deal for any of them. Or is it?
In an interview, the actress revealed feeling anxious over the public's reception to "Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote at Si Ako" since she knows only too well that no one can predict these things.
Ako lang bagong dating,” Judy Ann pointed out, laughing.
She counts to her favor that her film caters to people of all ages, and that her being there added "new flavor" to the film where she plays  Princess Angelina Kalikasan Orteza or AKO from the Kingdom of Diwarata who safeguards the environment.
Judy Ann said that for her, the movie is not just about action, drama and comedy, but it served as opportunity for her to get to know Bong and Vic better.
“Wala silang artista factor. Wala silang dressing rooms at hindi sila nag-dedemand.  Pagdating sa set nasa garahe sila naka-stand-by.
She also learned why “lots” of women fall for her leading men.

Juday, maarte!

http://www.tempo.com.ph/2012/11/juday-maarte/#.ULetWeSXKuk

VIC Sotto Judy Ann Santos and Bong Revilla

“Now, I have the time to prepare for our noche buena.
Juday plays Princess Angelina Kalinisan Orteza, a.k.a.
Bong at Vic. This is once in a lifetime opportunity.
No demands
All praises si Juday kina Sen. Bong at Vic.
“Wala silang demands. Mas maarte pa nga ako (laughs) at gusto ko, may dressing room. Siyempre, dahil babae ako. Pareho silang simpleng tao. Ang pagkain nila, pagkain ng lahat.
“Nakikipagbiruan sila sa crew. Wala silang ere at walang cut-off time. Siguro dahil sila ang producers (laughs). Masarap sila katrabaho.

Kaya’t pinili niya ang Sun Cellular as her communication partner. For more than two years now, happy siya mga benefits of being part of the Sun family  at sa kanyang  Sun-powered mobile phone  na katulong niya upang in touch siya sa kanyang pamilya ng mahusay at very affordable rates.
Juday is a firm believer in the benefits of Sun Cellular. Bukod sa unlimited calls and texts, gamit din niya ang  Sun Todo IDD Tawag upang tawagan ang kanyang mga contacts dahil sa mas mahabang   talk time for as low as P2.00 per minute. Bong, Vic described as simple, undemanding

http://www.journal.com.ph/index.php/entertainment/showbiz-news/40050-bong-vic-described-as-simple-undemanding

***snipped

“Ang choosy ko naman kung tatanggi pa ako, first time ko to work with Sen. Bong Revilla and Vic Sotto at maganda pa ang role.”

No cut-off and no demands sila, ako pa ang may demands bilang ako ang babae at minsan, nahihiya ako,” wika ni Judy Ann.

Judy Ann Santos
Judy Ann Santos
Her star started to rise when she was being slapped around. As TV’s original Mara, Judy Ann Santos was the reason why a lot of household activity stopped in the afternoons – for several years, as viewers rooted for this round-faced cherub as she faced the seemingly insurmountable challenges of her everyday life. In the end, she was able to win against the evil schemes of Clara and Gary, and establish herself as the “Tunay na Del Valle”.
By the time Mara’s ordeals were over, Judy Ann had already blossomed into a teenager. In the natural progression of Pinoy TV careers, she crossed over from doing drama to teeny-bopper roles. The comedies that have song-and-dance numbers in them, and those cutesy romance movies paired with the hottest young actors at the time. Her “baby fat” was still there, and it gave a signal to impressionable fans that one did not have to be wafer-thin to be successful in showbiz. She did lose weight along the way, and was soon confident enough to wear spandex, as superhero Krystala in the ABS-CBN fantaserye back in 2004, where she helped rid the world of dastardly villains.
While any Judy Ann-starrer would mean queues at the box office, her succeeding blockbuster movies involved her life as a wife. Metro Manila Film Festival entries Kasal Kasali Kasalo, Sakal Sakali Saklolo and House Husband ensconced her in moviegoers’ minds as the quintessential domestic diva who took marriage and motherhood with a spring in her step.
Her real life imitates her art, as she is actually married to her MMFF movie co-star Ryan Agoncillo, and is mom to Yohan and Lucho. At the launch of her Goldilocks specialty creation called the PB Chocolate Celebration Cake, she gave a glimpse of her life at home: The day turned out to be Yohan’s birthday, and they were getting ready to hear Mass after the event. While graciously giving the MB team time for an interview, she was also efficiently instructing her assistant to meet them at the church with a cardigan to cover her off-shoulder outfit and flat shoes to replace her high heels – a sign of true mommyhood multitasking from a certified star.
She also gamely shared a Yohan anecdote to members of the press. “We had to place a rush order with Goldilocks for her cake. Her favorite right now is One Direction, as in patay na patay siya sa kanila! We had a cake made with their images printed on the icing. She planted a kiss on each and every one of their faces. So, at eight, may boyfriend na siya, apat pa, at take note, hindi local!” she jokes.
Food plays a central part in their lives, as she says she likes to cook for husband Ryan, whom she describes as quite unfussy. “Steaks are his favorite, and I also try to get him to eat his vegetables,” she says. Her own Goldilocks cake creation is also, well, a slice of her personal life. “I had a session with their Marketing Director, Miss Pinky Yee, where we put together a cake using ingredients of my choice. The flavors that I chose are close to my heart – the PB Cake is actually peanut butter, bananas, cashews. Peanut butter and bananas, because that was what I ate a lot of during my pregnancy with Lucho – those were responsible for my weight gain!” she laughs. Then she shares a more poignant part of her history: “When I was in school, my baon would not be enough to buy cashews sold outside the church in Antipolo, so kumukupit ako sa mga tindera.”
Now that she is a superstar in her own right, her challenge would be dealing with stress. But she says she has her own simple solution for dealing with it. “The moment that I know that I am going home, I feel relaxed already. Automatic na sa akin 'yan. Plus, since it takes me about an hour to get home from work, I already have my alone time in the car, where I can take a nap.”
Because she works so closely with food these days, as host of ABS-CBN’s local "Master Chef" franchise, she makes sure to maintain her weight. “I like getting my nutrition from healthy shakes, and I also exercise. My workout now includes running, zumba, and crossfit training. I do these around the house, so nobody can see me,” she laughs.
Aside from her more serious side as the host of the "Master Chef" series, Judy Ann unleashes her more youthful and playful self in the upcoming MMFF fantasy/comedy movie Si Enteng, Si Agimat, at Ako with Vic Sotto and Bong Revilla Jr.

Judy Ann thinks she’s not as good a comedienne as Ai Ai

http://www.malaya.com.ph/index.php/entertainment/18531-judy-ann-thinks-shes-not-as-good-a-comedienne-as-ai-ai

‘I told them frankly that if they expected me to do the original role assigned to Ai Ai, sabi ko, ‘di ko tatanggapin ang offer nila. – Judy Ann Santos’
Judy Ann Santos admitted that she knew she was just the second choice to play the leading lady of Senator Bong Revilla and Vic Sotto in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry, “Si Agimat, Si Enteng at Si Ako.”
“Alam ko ring ang first choice nila was Ai Ai (de las Alas),” Judy Ann added. “Ai Ai had to beg off, though, since she has an exclusive contract with ABS-CBN and Star Cinema.
“In my case, I told them frankly that if they expected me to do the original role assigned to Ai Ai, sabi ko, ‘di ko tatanggapin ang offer nila. I told them honestly that I’m not as good a comedienne as Ai Ai.
“Kaya they had to create a new role for me.”
The script, written by Bibeth Orteza and Aven Jacob, has Judy playing the part of Princess Angelina Kalinisan Orteza aka. AKO, ruler of the Kingdom of Diwarata who has the power to turn into a mystical bird.
“Wow, excited ako about my role in the movie,” Judy Ann gushed. “Isasama ko ang mga bata (her kids, Lucho and Yohan) to watch it. They will be excited and delighted to watch me fly in the movie, I’m sure.”
Senator Bong and Bossing Vic will be shown fighting cannibal tribes of the Tokakatoks and filthy alien monsters.
Senator Bong as Agimat will fight the enemies with a one-of-a-kind sword. Bossing Vic as Enteng will do battle in his usual comic fighting style.
Directed by Tony Reyes, five giant productions, Imus Productions, OctoArts Films, M-Zet TV, APT Entertainment and GMA Films, produced “Si Agimat, Si Enteng at Si AKO.”

Judy Ann Santos asiwa kina Bossing Vic at Senator Bong

By Ceasar Pambid

Nov 26, 2012

“With Bossing… Bossing siya, ’di ba? Parang hindi mo talaga alam… First and foremost, hindi ko talaga alam kung paano siya. But it turned out na pareho silang ano…

Eat Bulaga! Dabarkads stage successful show in London; Jose and Wally bring the house down

November 21, 2012 12:21am

LONDON, U.K.

Past 6 p.m. nagsimula ang show.

Are you ready for the bloody action?!"

JOSE & WALLY.

“So wise.

Nag-duet sila ni Ryan at nag-kiss ulit ang mag-asawa after their song number.

JOEY’S BRAND OF COMEDY.

MISS UNIVERSE.

“Come to mama. I will breastfeed you!" sabi niya.

No UK visa? And you’re married? Go down!"

Nagsama-sama ang buong tropa sa entablado for the closing number.

-- Allan Diones, PEP

We have seen the combined forces of “Agimat” and “Enteng Kabisote” in the 2010 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) transform box-office history to the heights of glory.
Two years after, in MMFF 2012, prepare as the two formidable giants of the local filmmaking world – Vic Sotto and Ramon “Bong” Revilla, Jr. – once again join their stellar powers and listed the services of an equally bankable actress – Judy Ann Santos – to come up with the next adventure-filled chapter of their heroic exploits in “Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote at Si Ako.”
Produced by industry powerhouse outfits Imus Productions, OctoArts Films, M-Zet TV, APT Entertainment and GMA Films, the movie is poised not just to lord it over the tills, but to bring cheers, goodwill and love as it once again espouses family values, adventure, fun and magical fantasy when it unreels on Christmas.
Director Tony Y. Reyes, who was at the helm of all the “Enteng Kabisote” series in the recent MMFF past, says that the challenge to outdo the last one is always the hardest one to tackle. “In 2010, Sen. Bong and Bossing Vic already teamed up and it broke all box-office records when they did. This time around, how do we top that? That’s when the name of Ms. Judy Ann Santos came in. We now have not just one, not two, but three box-office giants in one movie,” he said.
The movie boasts of locations in the most spectacular places in the Northern part of the Philippines and elsewhere, dedicated sound stages during the entire filming and CGI effects done abroad.
Not to be missed is the support cast led by Wally Bayola, Jose Manalo, Sam Pinto, Gwen Zamora, Aiza Seguerra, John Lapus, child stars Jillian Ward and Ryzza Mae Dizon, Yassi Pressman, Jolo Revilla, Oyo Boy Sotto, Ruby Rodriguez, Amy Perez, Barbie Forteza, Alden Richards, and Anton Revilla.
Screenplay by Bibeth Orteza and Jermyn Aven Jacob, the story of “Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote, at Si Ako” begins with the establishment of the three different worlds, bound to meet for an adventure like no other – the humble family-oriented Enteng Kabisote (Vic Sotto), a low-profile technician married to the beautiful Fairy Princess of Encantasia, Faye (Gwen Zamora); Agimat (Ramon “Bong” Revilla, Jr.), the brave village warrior hero of Amuleto; and the high tech-yuppie Kingdom of Diwatara ruled by Princess Angelina Kalinisan Orteza (Judy Ann Santos) also known as AKO, where she leads an environmental advocacy organization.

The actress shares how she helps her children become the best versions of themselves. By Mimi Tiu

Being a parent is a daunting responsibility on its own. But Judy Ann Santos, who juggles motherhood with a showbiz career, numerous endorsement obligations, and other professional responsibilities, seems to be doing it all effortlessly.

Despite her hectic four-day filming schedule, Juday, as she is fondly called by her millions of fans, still makes it a point to spend as much time as she can with her husband, Ryan agoncillo, and their two kids, Yohan, 8, and Lucho, 2. In theNovember 2012 issue of Good Housekeeping Philippines, the country’s teleserye queen shares her hands-on approach to parenting. Read on for the veteran actress’ mommy tips!

1. SET ASIDE A SPECIFIC TIME TO SPEND WITH THEM DAILY.
Mornings are sacred time for bonding with her family. Gusto kong maalala ni Yohan that Mommy always makes [her] breakfast. Kung hindi man ako makagawa ng breakfast, may bawi moments ako like we cook together (I like being with them every morning. I don’t want them to get used to not seeing me in the morning. I want Yohan to remember that Mommy always makes her breakfast. If I can’t make their breakfast, I try to make it up to her by doing things like cooking together.). I want Yohan to know that whatever Mommy can do, she can do also.”

2. GET ACTIVE WITH THEM.
Family time also consists of playing Wii games, dancing Zumba, and exercising together. “Matutuwa ka kayLucho. Suma-sabay siya sa CrossFit ng daddy niya. Or kapag nag-co-CrossFit kami ni Ryan, sasabayan nila kaming dalawa. We also want them to know that maganda 'yung napapawisan (You’ll be amused by Lucho. He joins his daddy when he does his CrossFit routine. Or he would join me and Ryan when we do CrossFit. We also want them to know that it’s good to break a sweat.). It’s healthy for us and for them as well.”

3. ENCOURAGE THEM TO ENJOY THE SIMPLE THINGS IN LIFE.
Judy also shares her desire to let the children play outdoors and fondly recalls the good ol’ days when she would play patintero or hide-and-seek. “Gusto naming ituro sa kanina yung simple pleasures. Hindi lahat dapat nababayaran o lagi nasa Internet (We want to teach them the simple pleasures. Not everything should be paid for or be on the Internet.)," she said. "We want them to be active. Karamihan ng mga bata ngayon tamad gumalaw dahil puro computer games lang sila buong araw (A lot of kids nowadays have become so lazy because they’re playing computer games the whole day.).”

Maraming kailangan i-adjust with the teleserye.
