May mga kumakalat ngayong negatibong tweets na tumutuligsa sa TV host-actor na si Ryan Agoncillo kaugnay ng kinasangkutan nitong "traffic altercation" last weekend.

Narito ang ilan sa naturang tweets:

"For those who are not aware, Ryan Agoncillo overtook a van carrying a 2-yr old boy. Drove a car w/o license plates. | TARANTADONG PINOY."

"RYAN AGONCILLO, ur such a bully. better control ur road rage sir!!!"

Ayaw na sanang palakihin ni Ryan ang nangyaring "road problem" sa pagitan nila ng Philippine Daily Inquirer reporter na si Marlon Ramos.

Pero, hindi na nga siya nakaligtas sa pagtatanong ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at iba pang media tungkol dito sa presscon ng pelikula nila ng asawang si Judy Ann Santos, ang My Househusband: Ikaw Na!, kahapon, Disyembre 7, sa Napa Restaurant sa Scout Limbaga, Quezon City.

Ang naturang pelikula ang entry ng OctoArts Films sa parating na Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2011 sa Disyembre 25.

Ayon kay Ryan, naganap ang insidente noong Linggo, Disyembre 4. Pero ang Twitter feeds ni Marlon ay naka-date naman ng Disyembre 3, Sabado.

Kasama ni Ryan si Judai na nakaupo sa tabi niya sa passenger's seat nang mangyari ang insidente.

Sa bungad na pananalita ni Ryan, kaagad siyang humingi ng paumanhin kay Marlon at sa mga kasama nito.

"Well, noong una kasi, nung nangyayari yung insidente, litung-lito ako na may kasamang takot.

"But later on when I found out...it's my friends kasi who told me about it parang the next day or parang maggagabi.

"I checked Twitter and the Twitter feeds are from there...if I remember right, Marlon Ramos.

"Ganito kasi yun, first of all, I want to apologize to Marlon Ramos at doon sa pamilya na nandun sa van na nakaengkuwentro ko sa daan.

MARLON'S TWEETS. Para sa mas ikalilinaw ng istoryang ito, kinuha ng PEP ang sinasabi ni Ryan na Twitter feeds ni Marlon tungkol sa insidente gamit ang kanyang Twitter account na iammarlonramos.

"was driving w/ my friends on our way to a wedding in Ayala Westgrove in Silang. 'twas raining hard along the Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Road when a black Chevy sports car almost rear-ended my friend's van.

"I admit that 'twas my friends fault. he tried to go to the outer lane without apparently noticing the oncoming sports car. pro nkasignal nman sya that he was going to his right. but d sports car was coming at 60-80kph.

"i told myself, 'Naku, babawi tong driver ng sports car.' & that's exactly what happened. that bully sports car then overtook my friend's van & cut his path. i saw my friend's van came to a sudden halt.

"nag-alala & kinabahan ako bec my friend was w/ his wife & their 2-yr-old son when i saw d Chevy sports car sped away, my instinct was to run aftr that bully driver. so i turned on my headlights & honked d car horn continuously.

"i thought what d driver did to my friend wasnt right. i just wanted to tell him that d van he cut was carrying a 2-yr-old boy

"so ayun. aftr a few hundred meters of going after d bully sports car driver, he stopped. the man opened his window & i was surprised to see that d bully driver of the black Chevy sports car was actually #RYAN AGONCILLO, the actor and host of Talentadong Pinoy

"his wife, actress JUDY ANN SANTOS, was on the front passenger seat. so I told d man why he did what he just did. I also told him that the van was carrying a 2-yr-old boy.

"he just replied, 'Eh sya ang unang nag-cut sa akin.' we had an argument for maybe less than 3 mins.

"he then closed his window when i told him that he shouldn't bully anyone on the road and that i'm a reporter. Judy Ann was just quiet."

GOING PUBLIC WITH HIS APOLOGY. Humihingi ng tawad si Ryan kay Marlon sa nangyaring insidente.

Pero may dahilan daw kung bakit ganun ang naging reaksiyon niya rito.

"I apologize for behaving aggressively. Pero dun sa tamang isinulat niya mero'n lang akong gustong idagdag.

"Not to defend myself but to explain siguro what happened. Sa akin kasi when it happened, makikita n'yo naman sa Twitter feeds niya.

"Ayoko na sana to go public with my apology, but I guess I have to because he went public with his report, di ba?"

Dito na nga sinimulang idetalye ni Ryan ang mga nangyari.

"When I saw the Twitter feeds, tama yung pagkakasabi niya ng facts. Ako kasi when I was driving, it was a clear road.

"I was on my way to a wedding as well. Nalaman ko sa Twitter feeds niya na papunta siya sa wedding.

"Sa kaliwa, napansin ko, may linya ng kotse na hindi sila mabilis, hindi sila mabagal.

"Katamtaman yung speed nila. There was a line of about four or five cars. I don't remember, but nothing was holding them up.

"Pero pace nila, sarili nila. Actually, yung ibang sasakyan nilalampasan sila. So, ako nalampasan ko na rin.

"All of a sudden there was a car almost absent-mindedly na nandun na ako, humarang.

"Almost ran me off the road, actually. Kung hindi ako nakapreno nang maagap, nabangga ko siya.

"Or kung mali ang kabig ko, nabangga ko naman yung bangketa or yung sasakyang nasa tabi.

"So, for me I wanted to find out kung ano ba yung nangyari bakit biglang hindi naman mabilis yung takbo, e, absent-minded, e.

"Nagganyan, nag-cut. So, for me, lumipat ako dun sa side niya kasi nandun na siya sa lane ko, e.

"Usually kasi, sa mga traffic, pagka-cut you get a gesture or apology or a hand wave which I didn't get.

"So, ako sabi ko teka muna I'm not getting a hand wave. 'Tapos, usually kapag nag-swerve ka sa isang lane, kasi hahataw ka, o-overtake ka...I'm thinking na o-overtake siya but there was some change in speed."

MODUS OPERANDI? Litung-lito raw si Ryan sa mga nangyayari dahil hindi nga niya nakikita ang mga nakasakay sa mga tinted na kotse.

Hindi niya raw maiwasang maisip na baka may masamang intensyon sa kanila ang hindi niya kilalang mga tao.

"So, ako, hindi ko maintindihan what was happening. Muntik akong mabangga, hindi nag-a-apologize, mero'ng sasakyan diyan.

"Medyo kinabahan ako, I wanted to get a reaction. And I admit that I acted aggressively. So, I wanted to get a reaction. I wanted to get space also.

"Kasi marami tayong e-mails na kumakalat, saka mga text about yung mga modus operandi.

"So, ako I wanted to find out, ano ba ito, 'pinagti-trip-an ba ako? Aksidente ba ito, o modus operandi?' I didn't know."

Dahil dito, si Ryan naman ang nag-cut doon sa isang sasakyan.

"I wanted a reaction. So, kinut ko. Pero, nung huminto na yung sasakyan, 'eto naman yung kotse sa likod niya na naka-hazard [light] na napansin ko pagdaan ko.

"Hinabol na ako and started honking the horn and nagba-bright lights. So, ako, 'Wait a minute, am I gonna get into a fight? Is this a modus operandi?'

"Hindi ko malaman e. Natakot na rin ako. So, tama rin yung sabi niya na I was speeding.

"I was trying to get away from him, this guy na nagho-honk ng horn dahil hindi mo nga alam, e.

"E ayokong maipit sana, kasi hindi ko alam kung convoy sila kung ilang sasakyan sila.

"Ayokong maabutan dun sa kanto na maipit ako. So, humataw ako pero hinabol ako.

"Pagdating sa kanto, red light, so I needed to push my way to the front para kung sakali if there was further aggressive behavior, e, may exit ako.

"Yun ang bilin lagi sa mga e-mail—always have an exit. Always be in a public area."

ALINDOG NI JUDAY, 'di matiis ni Ryan!

Hindi na kataka-taka kung mabuntis ulit si Judy Ann Santos next year, dahil in-announce na ng mister niyang si Ryan Agoncillo sa presscon ng MMFF movie entry nilang My Househus­band na gusto na niyang sundan ang anak nilang si Lucho.

Marami kasi ang nagulat sa magandang pigura ngayon ni Juday na mas seksi pa ito ngayon kesa nu’ng bago siya nagkaroon ng anak.

Natanong si Ryan sa presscon kung gusto ba niya ang dating katawan ng asawa na ‘chubby’ o mas type nito ang kasalukuyang pigura nito na sexy.

Ayon kay Ryan, walang pagkakaiba kung ano ang pigura ng misis niya. Pero, gusto raw niya ang ang itsura ng misis ngayon. Yummy ang deskripyon ni Ryan sa pigura ng misis niya kaya naman baka masundan agad ang kanilang bunso.

Nagbiro pa nga si Ryan na gusto na nilang matapos agad ang presscon para makauwi na at maka-score sa kanyang misis. O ‘di kaya ay mag-check in na lang sila sa katapat na hotel ng Guilly’s restoran, ang para doon sila magsabong ng asawa.

Pumapabor naman si Juday sa statement ni Ryan at nagsabing gusto na rin niyang bigyan ng kapatid ang dalawa niyang anak na sina Yohan at Lucho. Ayon pa kay Juday, 13 months old na si Lucho at puwedeng-puwede na siyang magbuntis uli.

Handa raw si Juday na isakprisyo uli ang pinaghirapang pagpapayat at magbuntis uli kung ito ang itatakda ng Diyos para sa kanila.

Nagpaliwanag naman si Ryan sa kanyang pahayag na kaya niyang tiisin ang gutom pero hindi ang kanyang asawa dahil sa pigura at itsura nito.

Umamin kasi ang mag-asawa na apat na araw silang nagtampuhan at hindi sila nag-uusap kahit magkasama sila sa bahay at natutulog sa iisang kama.

Sey ni Ryan sa ika-apat na araw ng tampuhan nila ay hindi na niya kayang tiisin si Juday dahil napapansin niyang magandang-maganda ang asawa.

Nakakaya raw niyang hindi kainin ang mga niluto ng misis niya at tiisin ang gutom, pero nu’ng makita niyang maganda at seksi ang misis niya, hindi raw niya ito kayang dedmahin.

Ayaw nang magdetalye pa ni Ryan sa kanyang mga sinabi pero ayon sa kanya pag bumabawi silang mag-asawa matapos ang kanilang tampuhan, halos hindi sila napaghihiwalay kahit saan sila pumunta.

MAPAGPAKUMBABANG humingi ng paumanhin si Ryan Agoncillo sa taong nakainitan niya sa kalye nu’ng nakaraang linggo. Ilang araw na pinagpiyestahan sa Twitter si Ryan sa insidenteng ‘yun at pinapalabas siyang masama dahil sa inasal niya nang na-cut siya ng isang van habang nagbibiyahe sila ni Judy Ann Santos pauwi. Ang ginawa ni Ryan, hinabol niya ang van na ‘yun at nag-cut din siya para maharang niya at ala­min kung bakit ginawa ito sa kanya. May isang kotse na humabol sa kanya at sinabihan itong may 2-year old child na sakay sa kotseng na-cut niya. Nagkainitan sila sa isang kanto, pero mai­ngat pa rin si Ryan dahil iniisip niyang baka may masamang balak sa kanila ni Juday. Baka isa lamang daw ito sa mga nababalitaan niyang modus operandi ito para ma-carjack sila. Taga- Inquirer pala ‘yung nakabangga ni Ryan na nagpakilala sa kanya nang magpang-abot sila. Hindi namin nabasa ang nasulat sa diyaryong ‘yun, at in-acknowledge ni Ryan na tama ang mga nasulat, pero sana raw ay kumpleto at dinetalye ang mga pangyayari. Nang magkaalaman na, nag-sorry raw doon si Ryan at umalis. Pero sinundan pa rin siya na duda ni Ryan, sinusubukan nilang kunan sila ng litrato. Nakaalis din ito agad at hindi na sila nasundan. Paulit-ulit na nag-sorry si Ryan nang nakapanayam namin ito kahapon sa presscon ng My Househusband. Nagpasalamat din siya dahil hindi ito masasamang tao, gaya ng naisip niya nu’ng mga oras na ‘yun. Maaaring mali ang nagawa niya base sa kanyang hinala, kaya humihingi siya ng paumanhin. Pero katakut-takot na panlalait na ang inabot ni Ryan sa Twitter, pero hinayaan na lamang niya ito. “Honestly, nagpasa­lamat ako na totoo siyang reporter, na traffic altercation ‘yun na sa totoo lang, ilang oras din at buong araw kong iniisip kung ano ba ‘yun, was it an attempt or carjacking or kidnap attempt. “Na-relieve ako nu’ng nalaman kong tunay siyang reporter, na hindi masamang tao ang nakaaway ko, and it was my fault. “I apologize to them, nasira ko ang araw n’yo, na-bad trip kayo. Pasensya na, mali ang pagkabasa ko at interpretasyon ko,” pahayag ni Ryan. Si Juday naman ay takot na takot nu’ng nangyari ‘yun. Pero nasasaktan din siya sa mga masasamang itini-tweet laban sa kanila, at sa lumalabas na balita. “Sa amin lang, pa­sensya na po kung kayo ay nabuwisit nu’ng panahong ‘yun. Pero kami mismo ay natakot din, hindi natin alam baka mamaya tinitiktikan lang ang sasakyan mo, or napagtripan kaming harangin. Ang daming tumatakbo sa isip ko, eh. “Sana, sa susunod, bago maglabas ng mga ganu’ng balita, ‘yung ala­min na po muna ang buong istorya. Kasi parang… ang lumalabas, ‘pag artista ka, mayabang ka. “Hindi naman po… sorry, sorry,” mapagpakumbabang pahayag ni Juday. *** Impressive ang ga­ling ni Juday sa pagluluto nang humarap sila ni Ryan sa movie press kahapon para sa presscon ng My Househusband. Panalo ang pandesal na binake niya na may tapa at white cheese. Isa ito sa specialty ni Juday na hindi lang si Ryan at mga kaibi­gan ang nagkagusto kundi ang mga reporter na nakatikim nito kahapon. Puwede ba siyang mag-restaurant uli para matikman din ang mga recipe na gawa niya? Napag-isipan na raw niyang mag-restaurant pero hindi pa muna sa ngayon. Abala pa sila sa kani-kanyang trabaho kaya hanggang plano pa lang muna sila. “Siguro, ‘pag relaxed na kami talaga. ‘Yung wala ka nang iniintindi, ‘yun siguro ang time na puwede na kaming mag-restaurant para du’n na lang kami talaga naka-focus,” pahayag ni Juday. My Househusband, Ikaw Na!

My House Husband is an Official Entry of OctoArts films to the MMFF 2011 starring the sweet coulple Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo and Ryan Agoncillo. Directed by: Joey Reyes, opens December 25, 2011.

Nothing prepared ROD (Ryan Agoncillo) and MIA ALVAREZ (Judy Ann Santos) for the major changes that took place in their lives. ROD worked as a manager of a bank while MIA opted to remain a housewife taking care of their two children — MIGO and KAYE — with an occasional sideline of selling insurance. MIA gave up her promising career in sales because ROD wanted to be the padre de familia. For ROD, it was the role of the man to provide for his wife and children … in the same manner that there was a clear cut delineation as to what are the duties of a husband from that of the wife.

But when a larger bank merged with ROD’s employer, he found himself out of work. Overqualified in a scarce job market, ROD’s pride forbade him to reveal the truth immediately to his wife. Eventually, when he could not find employment, he had to agree to take care of the house and the two kids most especially after their trusted housekeeper had to leave for an emergency vacation.

In the process, ROD learns to do the housework — as he begins to adjust to a life of domestication which he thought was unthinkable for a man like him to find interest. And as he learned the ropes in running a household, MIA’s career in selling insurance begins to blossom. MIA was surprised to find out that all the unfulfilled potential she had in her suddenly emerged for the appreciation of her bosses in the insurance company.

Trapped at home, ROD befriends their next door neighbor named AIDA (Eugene Domingo) who everybody knows is a kept woman of a rich man who would occasionally visit her and her son to spend the night. Despite the scathing opinions hurled against AIDA, ROD discovered a completely different woman — over and above all the moral charges set against her. She was simply looking for someone who could take care of her, provide her and her son a good sense of the future. More so, she was led to believe that all women were meant to be cared for by men … and, in return, the woman sacrifices everything for that sense of belonging.

Slowly AIDA teaches ROD that there is nobility in being the caregiver of the family as well as the manager of the household. ROD, in turn, slowly opens the eyes of AIDA that she cannot depend on anybody except herself to fend for survival. AIDA was not too bright to realize that her material comforts were all too temporary because her benefactor could not provide her with a good future. As ROD and AIDA’s friendship intensifies, MIA felt all the more suspicious about their neighbor’s intentions....

‘Reality movie’ ang ‘My Househusband’

Manila, Philippines – Malinaw ang gustong ihandog ng award-winning director na si Joey Reyes sa forthcoming Metro Manila Film Festival entry ng OctoArts Films na My Househusband: Ikaw Na, ang isang bahagi ng tunay na buhay.

“Ngayong Pasko ay makikita ninyo ang sarili n’yo o isa man lang sa mga kakilala n’yo sa pelikulang ito,” sabi niya. “Each of the MMFF entries has its own slant and for us, we offer nothing fantastic, just reality — ang that’s our edge.”

At sino pa nga ba ang mas makakapag-deliver ng kanyang nais ihandog sa mga manonood kungdi ang real-life husband and wife na sina Ryan Agoncillo at Judy Ann Santos? Ayon kay Direk Joey, dahil sa dalawang bida niya ay mas napadali ang paggawa niya ng pelikula na, “Walang kapekean. They must be themselves because this film is about showing what’s really happening now,” kuwento ni Direk.

Napakalaking bentahe rin sa produksiyon ng My Househusband na hindi lang director-actor ang kanilang relationship kungdi true friendship. Maraming beses na silang nagkatrabaho at magkapitbahay pa. Ayon kay Direk Joey, sina Ryan at Juday sa likod ng camera ay “hindi showbiz”, isang bagay na dahilan ng kanyang respeto sa mag-asawa.

Ayon pa kay Direk, kumpara sa mga naunang pelikula na ginawa nilang tatlo, mas mabigat ang pressure ngayon kay Ryan dahil siya ang gumaganap sa titular role, na napasahan nito na lampas sa kanyang inaasahan.

“Because he’s not playing a father nor a husband this time — he is a father and a husband,” kuwento pa ni Direk Joey. “I’ve seen Ryan from the time he was single and I know that he has grown more responsible that ever if that’s possible. Like Judy Ann, he is bringing so much of himself in this film and moviegoers will sense that.”

Ang My Househusband ay tungkol sa non-traditional set-up ng married couple na sina Rod (Ryan) at Mia (Judy Ann). Si Rod ang naiiwan sa bahay at nag-aalaga sa mga bata at si Mia ang lumalabas para maghanapbuhay. Sinubok ng kinasuungan nilang mga sitwasyon ang relasyon.

Kabituin nila si Eugene Domingo bilang kapitbahay na kaduda-duda ang katauhan (kabit) na kinaaasaran ni Mia.

“This film recognizes the equality of sexes according to the times,” sabi pa ni Direk Joey. “Moviegoers will leave the theater with an even healthier appreciation of the roles of husband and wife, and yet also of the importance of individuality.”

Eugene excited to be a mistress in ‘Househusband’

Eugene Domingo is honest enough to admit that in case her acclaimed film "Ang Babae sa Septic Tank," gets nominated in the Golden Globe or Oscars, it will have a tough time against the Iranian entry, "A Separation," that already won the Berlinale best film and New York Film Critics best foreign film awards. "I’ve seen it and it’s really good," she says. "Ang kapal ng story about family, justice and religion in Iran. Pero sana, makapasok man lang kami kahit sa list of five nominees."

She’s the only actress with three entries in the Metro Manila filmfest. She plays a lead role in the "Rain Rain Go Away" episode of "Shake, Rattle & Roll 13," which she says is a serious drama and not a comedy. She is the mistress of an old man who becomes Ryan Agoncillo’s best friend in "My Househusband" and she’s the best friend of Ai Ai de las Alas in "Enteng ng Ina Mo." Last year, she won as best supporting actress for "Tanging Ina Mo Rin." If she’s

lucky this year, she just might win as best actress for "Shake" and best supporting actress for "Househusband" or "Enteng." "Sobra naman ‘yun, wala akong ganung ilusyon."

‘Tampuhan,’ Ryan-Judy Ann style

Manila, Philippines – JUDY Ann Santos revealed she had difficulty acting out a scene in her forthcoming starrer with husband Ryan Agoncillo, “My Househusband: Ikaw Na!”

The scene required her to shout at Ryan’s character and deliver the line, “Bwisit na buhay ito!”

Juday claimed it ran contrary to her true-life character. “Nahirapan akong itawid ang eksena kasi kailangan ko siyang sigawan, eh, hindi ko ginagawa ’yon. Nagi-guilty ako talaga!” the actress revealed.

Between the two of them, Juday said she’s the peacemaker. She makes the first move for them to reconcile whenever they get into a fight. She can’t stand the silent treatment.

“Parang hindi tama kung hindi kayo (the couple) nag-uusap. Ako ang nangungulit para mag-usap kami,” Juday said.

She said she would tail her husband and beg him repeatedly, “Kausapin mo ako, please… please mag-usap naman tayo.” And she would persist until an exasperated Ryan finally gives in to her plea.

“Gustong-gusto niya na ikaw ang nababaliw,” she said.

Lest you think ill of Ryan as a husband, he said in jest, through seven years of close association with Juday, he’s become familiar with her fighting (let’s tone it down to “tampuhan”) style. Joey Reyes is also the director of “My Househusband,” OctoArts Films entry to the forthcoming Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). Direk Joey calls “My Househusband” a slice of true life. “Makikita ninyo ang sarili n’yo o isa man lang sa mga kakilala n’yo sa pelikulang ito,” he explained.

In this movie, however, Ryan and Juday are not playing their lives as husband and wife. They are thrust in an entirely different domestic situation prevalent in the present time. “My Househusband” is about married couple Rod (Ryan) and Mia (Judy Ann) who has a non-traditional setup. Rod takes care of the house and the kids while Mia looks after putting bread on the table. Along the way, situations arise that test the arrangement and their relationship.

Adding third-wheel support (as requested by producer Orly Ilacad) to the tested tandem is Eugene Domngo as a kept woman. “This film recognizes the equality of sexes according to the times. Moviegoers will leave the theater with an even healthier appreciation of the roles of husband and wife, and yet also of the importance of individuality,” direk Joey said.
