MANILA, Philippines – Sam Milby has flatly denied being involved in the breakup between Maja Salvador and Matteo Guidicelli.

According to a report by PEP posted on Sept. 4, Sam’s name was dragged into the issue apparently because he was linked to the actress two years ago when they were still co-starring in the afternoon soap, “Impostor.”

“Friends kami ni Maja, and no, I’m not the third party. Ayokong idamay ang sarili ko sa usapan na ‘yan 'coz I’m not the third party. So I don’t like to be, like, the third party kasi hindi naman ganun,” the Fil-Am actor-musician was quoted to have said.

He refused to discuss the matter further, insisting, “hindi naman ako third party or cause ng breakup nila.”

Recall that Maja confirmed her separation from Matteo on "Kris TV" last Aug. 3, but clarified that the move was a mutual decision and that no third party was involved.

Meanwhile, Sam related that taping for his upcoming soap, “Against All Odds,” with Judy Ann Santos and KC Concepcion has began.

Sam only has good words for Judy Ann.

“Sobrang bait niya to the staff, sa lahat, to everyone.  She cares for the whole production, sa amin. She’s always bringing food para sa lahat... sobrang bait talaga,” he told PEP.
