After her teleserye Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala ended last August, Judy Ann Santos said she is focusing on doing hosting duties again on the new Kapamilya show Bet On Your Baby. The 35-year-old actress admitted that she was hoping to go on a vacation with her family before starting work on her new project, but it had to be deferred after husband Ryan Agoncillo was hospitalized. “Dapat di ba mag-va-vacation kami pero since nagka-dengue siya, nakabakasyon naman kami sa hospital but were still going to go on a vacation next week,” she said during her launch as Champion Fabri-Con liquid fabric conditioner endorser at a press conference held last September 23 at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel.

Juday admitted that she is happy to join her hubby in endorsing products in the same company. “First time namin magkasama as a family sa magkaibang produkto. Siyempre happysiya kasi parang magkakasam na kami, wala ka ng iisipin na baka hindi ito puwede, ganyan, ung mga things that you have to consider but of course we're more than happy na magkasama ulit kami,” she explained.

During the event, the talented actress couldn't help but voice out her opinion regarding the current pork barrel scam issue after being involved in a BIR case herself for several years. “Hindi mo siya hindi maiisip kasi parte ka sa bansang ito na nagbabayad ng taxes at katatapos lang ng kaso ko so parang it makes me think, 'What happened dun sa binayad ko? Kaninong bahay kaya siya napunta?' Hindi siya nakakairita, nakakabuwisit siya (laughs). Di ba hindi ba parang lahat naman tayo hindi lang bilang artista pero bilang workers, lahat tayo nagbabayad ng taxes natinand we try to pay kung ano yung dapat nating bayaran. Kagaya ko na dating nagkakaso, sinabi ko naman na wala naman ako karapatan talikuran dahil gobyerno ito. Pero bilang mamamayang Pilipino, kung ang gobyerno ay may karapatan maningil ng taxes natin, tayo bilang mga tao, may karapatan din tayo na malaman kung san ba napunta? Wala bang explanation? Hindi ba dapat meron din kaming run-down sa mga nangyayari sa pera namin? Kasi hindi naman namin yun  hinuhugot lang sa langit. Dugo, pawis, luha para sa aming mga artista ang kapalit ng trabahong ito at saka oras,” she said.

The talented actress delved into deeper issues about politicians who misuse public funds instead of using it to improve the country. “Kumbaga, we try to be responsible Filipino citizens so as politicians please be responsible naman with your job dahil hindi madaling matrabaho lalo na pag may pamilya kang binubuhay, may mga bata kang gusong pagtapusin ng pag-aaral. Parang at the end of the day you can't help but also ask bakit ba tayo andito sa Pilipinas? Sayang naman yung ganda ng Pilipinas kung sinisira lang ng mga taong ibinoto ng mga tao di ba?  Sinasabi nila na, 'Vote Right' pero how can you vote right kung hindi mo naman alam kung saan din naman pala dinadala nitong taong binoto mo yung pera na binayad mo. So nakaka-frustratekasi nagkataon na hindi lahat ng pulitiko, hindi ko naman linalahat but I don't want to name names because mahirap naman na mag-point ng finger. Pero ang sa akin lang, kung sino talaga ang may kasalanan, pagbayarin at mag-explain. Sana huwag ng maulit kasi ang daming buhay ang nawawala, ang daming mga taong naaapektuhan sa mga ginagawa nila. Sana magkaroon rin ng konting progress, sana hindi konti kundi bonggang progress sa Pilipinas, nakakahiya na naman kasi tayo di ba? (laughs). Ako ilang taon ko binuno yung kaso ko, eight years. Eight years akong may kaso with the BIR. Sa akin lang, the BIR was just doing their job, collecting taxes and they'll give it to the government. Yung government ngayon ang magbibigay ng pera sa mga pork barrel. Parang point lang is, kung kami pinu-push niyo at pinu-push, kinakasuhan kami pag may konting digits na hindi nabayaran, bakit hindi niyo kasuhan yung mga pulitiko na malaking malaking digits ang kinuha sa pera namin?  Di ba?” she explained at the Champion Fabri-Con event.
