The top-rating primetime teleserye Habang May Buhay is nearing its dramatic conclusion and Teleserye Queen Judy Ann Santos of course couldn’t help but feel sad about it. The taping for the said drama has recently wrapped up also due to the fact that Judai needs to rest because of pregnancy.


However, given her condition, fans are worried that Judai might be leaving showbiz for good to focus on her duties as a wife and mother. In an interview with Showbiz News Ngayon, Judai said she promises to return to work soon after she gives birth. “Oo naman. Basta ba may magandang project. I made a promise naman na hangga’t kakayanin babalik naman ako sa trabaho kaagad.”


For now, Judai will take a breather from the stress of showbiz. She further talked about her and Ryan’s plans to go on vacation. “Finished na ako sa first trimester ko so hindi na siya (pregnancy) delikado. Baka matuloy na ‘yung bakasyon. Baka sa America o kahit saang place na hindi kami mai-stress masyado. Kapag hindi kasi namin tinake itong bakasyon na ito, hindi na talaga kami makakaalis.”


The actress also revealed that apart from her and Ryan, their eldest daughter Yohan is very excited to see the newest addition in their family. “Every morning mag-good morning na sa akin ‘yan si Yohan. Hahalik siya sa tummy ko. May mga times sasabihin niya, ‘Mommy, I want to go inside your tummy I want to see your baby already!’ Maalaga. Kapag may nakikita siyang bagong drink akong iniinom. ‘Mommy are you drinking wine?!’ Naku, mas istrikto pa sa tatay!”


Judai confessed that unlike many expecting mothers, she doesn’t have the usual cravings. She does find it odd though that she insists on having her husband Ryan around her most of the time. “Ewan ko ba basta madalas ko siyang nababatukan, ha ha ha! Basta nanggigigil ako sa kanya. Gusto ko nakadikit lang ako sa kili kili niya. ‘Wag naman sanang magmukhang kili kili ‘yung anak namin,” she jokingly said.
