The son of Lorna Tolentino and the late action star Rudy Fernandez has followed in the footsteps of his parents.
Rap Fernandez finally joined show business via ABS-CBN’s upcoming series “Buhawi Jack,” with Gerald Anderson as the lead star.
In an interview with “The Buzz,” Rap said he accepted the villain role because he believes that it is the right opportunity and right time for him to face the cameras.
“Timing. So, malaking karangalan para sa akin,” Rap said.
The newbie actor admitted that he feels pressure given the fact that his mother is a grand slam actress and his dad was one of the country’s showbiz icons.
“Given ‘yong background ko nga, mayroon [siyempreng pressure],” he said. So, nakakataba ng puso.”
Rap said he is now prepared to face the darker side of showbiz like the intrigues.
Rap, the eldest son of Tolentino and Fernandez, said he is dreaming of doing a project with KC Concepcion and Judy Ann Santos.
When asked to enumerate his top 3 favorite actor, Rap answered Sid Lucero, John Estrada and his father.
